::Haitian vs. Torrential::
Haitian - Founder of Party Guy Records, and head of Burlington's 2KDeep Crew, Haitian makes his way down from Vermont to show off his versatility on the decks, and bass-heavy sound. A favorite in Hartford every time he comes through, Haitian is sure to light it up for this special evening.
Torrential - Dubstep General and Junglist soldier Torrential has been blowing up dancefloors in CT as long as anyone in the state. He is the man responsible for Hartford's landmark night DUBBAGE. Join us as Torrential goes in against his counterpart from the North on what is sure to be an unforgettable night!
::Sharkat vs. Detroit Mike::
Sharkat -Coming from Portland, OR before eventually settling in VT is 2KDeep's own Sharkat. Beginning as a Drum n Bass DJ, and later purchasing a laptop and Serato opened a whole new world and made Sharkat into somewhat of a style jumper. Acquiring tracks no longer meant traveling to a city and returning with expensive vinyl. Dubstep, Electro, and House are his newest musical crutches. For him, it's all vibration in air, no matter what the style.
Detroit Mike - Dedicated member of the DUBBAGE crew and supporter of the Hartford scene, 'Detroit' is a lover of music. His recently collaborations have brought about the "Reload" Drum n Bass/Jungle night and the [PUSH] multi-genre dance parties to Hartford. Expect dancefloor smashers and smooth bass from this 10-year veteran behind the decks.
::Sleezy D vs. Jeff Avery::
Sleezy D - Also known as DaveLeikin, his influences include many styles of instrumental music (punk, ska, hip hop, reggae, hardcore, folk, world) as well as most electronic music (jungle, techno, dubstep, house, etc.) It was the performance of D.A.V.E. the Drummer at WEMF '06 in Ontario, CA that inspired D to buy decks and start DJing. Starting off spinning hard/acid techno, he progressed into drum n bass, and then to dubstep, for which he is best known.
Jeff Avery - Jeff started dj'ing in 1999 at age 18, at the Municipal Cafe in Hartford Connecticut. Jeff has an impressive resume of bookings and sets including many parties, raves, and one off events in the area. He also has been a resident dj at Realizations, DUBBAGE, and Reload.
::and Dirty D starting off the night::
Dirty D - Hartford Party Starters Union founder Dirty D kicks off the night. Dirty D is known for his funky, up-beat performances behind the decks. He knows no boundaries when it comes to music. Expect a fun set with nothing held back.
This night will feature the CT debut of the new Torrential Sound System. Battle-tested this summer at the 518assCamp festival in NY, the system over-powered the main stage from all the way across a field. Maybe TOO MUCH BASS FOR 1 BUILDING, you don't want to miss this!
