There's pricks everywhere though right? As long as theres a bit of respect going on and everyones not out to just 'punch people in the face' then pits are pretty fun

not gunna lie, moshing can be very and fun, and NO the point is not to go out of your way to hurt people
it's just a different, rougher type of dancing for a different, rougher type of music

i wouldn't mosh in a rave the same way i would skank in a moshpit, just different things innit

No proper club allows moshing anyway, let the dick heads at festivals do what they want

Hardcore dancing is fuckin stupid but a circle pit to some thrash metal is bliss.

There's a time and place for everything I suppose.

except hardcore dancing presumably

here's a clue, the time and the place for hardcore dancing would be at hardcore shows... don't go to hardcore shows and then you wont have cause for complaint

Used to hate moshing, then I saw Death Grips in NYC at some club downtown. Was fucking crazy
Couldn't find a video of the show I was at, but if you haven't heard them:

EDIT: Long intro. Actual song starts like 1:10

This is true.

I guess I'm just so accustomed to seeing 14 year olds hardcore dancing in neon blue skinnys, you could say it tainted my idea of hardcore dancing
