Unpredictable and wild, American Dubstep and Drum & Bass villain LukeNukem has steadily been making a name for himself as one of the loudest, rudest, and most promising young DJ/Producer combinations of 2010. Twenty-years young, the Northern California native hails from the land of the Black Panthers, purple trees, and golden bridges: the California Bay Area. Infusing his beats with laidback Irie rhythms, a result of early years spent on the Caribbean Islands of Antigua & Barbuda, Nukem masterfully blends island vibrations with soul-crushing bass for thousands of appreciative bass addicts. A staple of the California Dubstep and Drum & Bass community, his recent addition to the Santa Cruz, CA based Music Production/Artist Management Company, Vital SC, means Nukem’s path of destruction will now reach from the packed venues of San Francisco to Santa Cruz’s capital of EDM. Artists of any medium are welcome to set up in the destiny lounge downstairs and create during the evening. We have a handful of painters, and artists of various mediums, that bless us every week. Anyone is invited to set up and share their gift with others.
After every Ritual, the Irie Cartel will be making a small donation to the Bay Area chapter of the American Red Cross. The money will go towards the next local disaster similar to the San Bruno explosion, or any upcoming earthquake. Backpacks must checked into Coat Check. There are pat downs at the entrance that are targeting weapons, alcohol and items used for graffiti. There will be a machine outside that scans ID's. Your information is not shared with anyone and it is deleted shortly after the night is over.
