bassy venues

does anyone know of any relatively cheap venues in london with fairly decent sound systems? (ie enough low end to do justice to dark garage/dubstep/jungle)

doesn't have to be massive, plastic people-size would be good...

Corsica Studios in Elephant and Castle... Got a heavy funktion one rig in there... think it costs about 500 quid for a friday night... more for saturday.

Does justice to any style of music.

yeah corsica's brilliant but i was hoping to find somewhere i could hire out for a birthday thing rather than putting on a night...five hundred quid's a bit much, doesn't leave enough to pay DJs ;p

are there many places that would let you turn up with your own sound system?

the top floor of herbal is free to hire if you get enough on the bar i think, and the decks and system is ok but not big. and if theres a night on there on the floors below your mates get in free.
