Because it's just a gay ass name for a genre. If old Rock 'n Roll would be the equivelant of dubstep... then brostep could just as well just be called "Hardstep", or just Hard Dubstep... just like having Rock and Hard Rock.
Wtf? So 'brosteppers' walk and talk a certain way now? Where the fuck did u come up with that shit?

Are they sort of like an evolved human race? Only just more retarded?

How do they walk? Why do you not like it?

How do they talk?

Please answer as these are the kind of questions that will plague me for life.
:4:
That movie is awesome, as is that troupe. "You know. Bros."

Hahahah! "That was like an all-you-can-rape-buffet"

"Bro" step is "for the bros". It's rowdy, obnoxious, E pill-and-glowstick, shirtless fitted cap, "OH MY GOD" hardcore halfstep.

Dubstep, even the heavy tearout dubstep, sounds better, feels better, doesn't convey that attitude. It's steppers' music
Really not a hard thing to discern the difference. All types of sounds are used in both, its how they're arranged and used. Example being bitcrushed wubs. AKA YOY's. They aren't used the same in good dubstep but they are used.
For the record, I listen to "bro-step". I don't wear fitted caps, I don't get drunk OR do drugs, or go anywhere except for swimming and showering shirtless, or twirl around glowsticks or any of that stuff, and neither do any of my friends that listen to the same music. Your statment may be true for some, but is a vast generalization. It would be like me saying that all "deep heads" are pseudo-indy creeped out potheads that don't shower and love to talk about the "good 'ol days of dubstep". Obviously this is not true, but just like ther'es plenty of bros, there's plenty of those guys too...

@deadly habit: That's true to an extent, but there's plenty of rip off and biting going on in the "deep sound" as well. And on another note, I'm pretty sure spor did work with korn on that album as well :u:
seen, but i'm not trying to paint the listeners with a broad stroke. Just the sound. That's the sound, and i'd pretty much agree that dubstep is music for pesudo-indy elitist pothead bass junkies. That's not to say who does or doesn't listen to them. just an attempt at personifying the sound of it.

I listen to brostep to work out to.. it still sounds like X pill raver smash your face in music.

Well it's locked now. Unless a link to the remake surfaces, this post is clearly trolling
