Like no shit bro, that is the subtext of this thread, and dubstep in general

bit like what I am making right now but mine has bigger bass imo
Shed's new stuff as Panamax Project is pretty deep. T++, F, Headhunter, Ramadanman all still making pretty subby tings. There's loads of it around. TBH it's the only side of dubstep I really listen to; more than about 3 bitcrushed wobblefests in a row and I get bored pretty quick...

I don't know if you can consider them entirely dark, except maybe the "Dub & Run" song, but they are definitely deep and very melodic which is really my favorite style.
can only hear this one. It sounds like a cheesy pop song to me :/
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Well said.

imho if you're really talking "dark" and "deep", you're talking about guys like some of the kryptic minds stuff - and definitely guys like Biome, Soap Dodgers.etc. Have been heavily inspired by the latter these last few months.

I think the thread title had something to do with deep and dark dubstep.
This track you posted sounds like someone starting a car. I wouldnt call it dark, deep or even dubstep lol. Another noisy pop track
I reckon you missed the not deep and dark.. but I am truely sorry it does not fulfill your amazing knowledge of dubstep, unitz should recall it noisy pop track because that's what it is.
Is there a definition of deep and dark? Is that just the dungeon sound? Imo guys like statix, scorn, broken note etc are pretty deep and dark, but I suppose it all depends opinion...
