But what's crazy is, other genre's evolve and split off in different directions, but don't get... "hijacked"? Like House. It's branched into Underground, Soulful, Electro, etc each with it's own crowd & type of followers but nobody mistakes Electro House for being the "real" sound of House.

However with Dubstep, its like, one particular sound TOOK OVER and the original sound is completely ignored or unknown to people
