@dj sampletank: like the piece, feedback on your soundcloud
@Mannyyyyy: Huge bass, you liking massive then? feedback on your soundcloud
@basebass: not to bro steppish for me sounds good!

I'm still looking for feedback on my latest track. Newest version is in my sig, I realized I had a compressor on my master on the last one so I dumped that. I'm happier with the ending now but I think I need to work on the opening, any feed back would be much appreciated as I still don't know what else to do with the track.

I posted my Feeds last night but I'll do another.

Mannyyyyy, Not much more to say then, I am in love with that drop. It was a surprise on how heavy it actually was. It raised my brow quite a bit dude, cheers. I want that ending though. I thought the vox could be a bit more clean. This is a solid track.

I haven't posted anything in nearly a year. That being said, don't go easy on me.

It may feel too hot, I don't know, I'm may be too close to my work nowadays.

BaseBass-The hats get lost a little in the mix after the drop, bring them out a bit. I like your basslines.

Rightontime- Intro is a bit to long for how little it evolves but taht could just be personal taste, track overall to me is a little dry until the bassline comes in.

Heres an Updated version of my latest WiP let me know waht you guys think.

Craggle love it, absolutely love it. Great melody work.
DJ Sampletank intro sounds off key, the synths don't go well together. The drop felt really random, but crazy. There's alot to improve, keep it up!
Bassmagnet Interesting intro, liking that piano. I think the drums could fatten up a bit, the bass at 0:30 easily eats it up and take over the mix. Some good ideas in this I like that might need some polishing, that comes with time and experience, just keep it up man!

ninthy4: Sounds great so far. I absolutely love the vinyl crackle in the intro. Absolutely massive drums, great bass tone, looking forward to see where this goes.
jimbeaux: Not really my favorite style, but very well produced. Dug the beat and intro a lot, really great percussion all throughout. Liked the leads a lot as well, and though I'm not a big fan of really filthy type dubstep like this, I can tell you got what you were going for, so great job.
bayda: Great vibes. Intro might do with a tiny bit in the background, but it definitely doesn't sound bad at all. Loved the drop, had a pretty cool DMZ type vibe and wobble. Keep it up!

Something I just started last night. Never even tried any dnb/jungle type stuff before, but I was actually remaking a song I started a while ago, ironically pretty downtempo (like 120-130ish) dubstep with kind of a distant "jungly" vibe (not the genre  ) when I decided to speed it up and bust out the amens, so here goes. If this turns out ok I'll probably remake the original more in its true form and just have two separate songs. Please be very harsh as I'm completely new to any kind of breakbeat, dnb, jungle, whatever.

Also, at the beginning of the drop is a guitar sample I'm thinking of incorporating, but haven't done much with. Also, I'm very iffy about the percussion in the intro, but its something left over from the original much slower song.

Thanks for the tip Ruckr, your absolutely right... I did not even notice this hehe. I'm always too afraid that the hats are to loud, and distract from the melody and basslines.

And thanks for the rest of the feedback guys! ^^

I have already posted feedback earlier, and I will post some more later. :)

Here's my work in progress, the final tune will include vocals from a known MC. The final product is also 140bpm, but i'm not allowed to post it yet. So, if you guys have any feedback, let me know ! Thanks !

Thanks man ! I know that one thing I need to work on is the hihats, they sound a little bit white noisey, at least to my ear.

hi ninthy4, some pro in here huh? :Q: well done, nice atmosphere, nasty reezsounds and wobbles, tight bass, on my monitors your kick sounds a bit to squashy, duno but your drop is prty easy, you tried some reversed crash in front of the drop? i think that would be more usefull on the 2nd one...
all in all = :q: well done! :4:

hi dubbyconqueror, your style is a bit different :p your samples need more loudness, some reverb to get more ambience, the percussions in the intro have no rhythm, the vocal-samples are cool, more bass please! :4:

hi AMPR, that tune is prty massive, there's a lot of power inside, but you should pump up the kick and the snare sounds a bit overcompressed, the hats need some more edge, they sounding actually bit muddy you know, keep the good work up! :4:

now to ma tune, its in the build-up atm so no mastering in here... hope you'll enjoy it although :dunce:

jclarkeiv - trak sounds decent but it needs cuttin up in the second half, needs a shift of something!
Bassmagnet - love the atmospericity!
Ruckr23 - I love the sound of the drums on here and the shuffle they have as well!

Not gonna lie I pulled out them 3 comments quite quick so I can whack a track on : ) I'm heading out now and want to be able to listen to stuff on my speakers abit more in depth to be able to reflect!

Soundcloud

My first track I've ever developed past 40 seconds! It's evolved over the last few days, just not sure where to go with it. Apart from a restructure and some drop buildups I think!
Can see myself getting heavily involved on this site dunno why I ain't joined sooner!!

hi Pidge123, this is not my taste of music, your bass is to loud and sounds a bit "disorted" your kick have no power, your snare is overcompressed... and seriously im dont getting the build-up, well you like it, so :W:

DJ Sampletank - I like the dissonance in the intro and break. As for the drop. Very crazy sounds. But it's too clean though. First of all, it's practically mono, which makes it really boring to listen to. Pan some stuff, use special techniques to make stuff more stereo, hall reverbs, you know what i mean. I suggest adding some release to some stuff, and adding some whitenoise tail to the snare. What you really need is reverb though, i don't think you reverbed anything in that tune. Delay + reverb some stuff man! Also, i barely hear sub. Turn that bitch up!

Bassmagnet - Daym, i like that. I didn't know what to expect with the (awesome btw) piano intro. I think it's closer to IDM than dubstep though. only real comments i have is that it's a bit too mono in my opinion. Also, I would try messing around with dynamics more, automating stuff, there should be more movement in this. Maybe even glitch up the drums a little.

Ruckr23 - Where is the high end? Your drums have no high end at all, sounds like i'm standing outside a club and i can hear the bass through the concrete walls. It's hard to be objective now because it kinda bores your mix now. Interesting sounds in the high end though, that little metallic synth.

here's my tune:

RmoniK - I really like the intro of your tune, the song has a chill feeling throughout :) Some of the cymbals sound a bit too loud in my ear, but great tune still !

@AMPR - Really great track already but like it already's been said you need to clean up those hats a little! Mad kudos for the track

@Rmonik - i really like the track so far i like how well the vocals fits! Big ups

@pidge123 - Overall nice song structure but the one thing that need's to be really worked on his the bass it sounds muddy and it overlaps alot of stuff.

here's my latest dubstep project tell me what you think about it!

@Globalz: That sidechain compression is a bit too intense. The first pad also feels a little too resonant, although I like the airy feeling it gives. The pitch-bent bass is nice as well; the only thing I'd suggest would be to add a slight volume modulation alongside the filter, to bring some dynamic range into the track.

@take2:
Android -- That synth. 0_0 Brooding and slow, it's great. I think the snare could use a little high-end, to pull it and the hats together a bit. i think a secondary synth could add something to the track. Nothing too fancy, just for a bit of contrast here and there.
Demons -- Again, the snare could use some shimmer. I really do like that slow synth of yours; it rolls about all evil-like and whatnot.
Exquizite -- I feel like a mid-pitched drone could add a point of constancy; there's a lot going on in the track, but it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere. Maybe a more different pattern at the end of every bars could help in that regard.

@RmoniK: I feel like the mid-range could be cleaned up a bit; perhaps increase the upper limit of your LFO'd filter on the main synth and lower its volume a touch. Because there's a slight stereo effect (phase?) it feels louder than it is. And that synth that swells between bars; it needs a bit of high end. The delay on the vocals is a little distracting as well, and takes away from that track's presence. Maybe add the delay to a different track, and send a high-passed, possibly lightly-chorused and lowered signal to it? As things are, the vocals are kind of muddled. I mean, it's like your vocals and instruments are sitting in the same space, and some differentiation is needed. Not to rip apart your track; I think some little touches here and there can really push it higher.

I don't have anything unfinished at the moment; I just came to offer feedback before I turn in.

Yah i know what you're saying. But i'm awful at reverbing properly, and, those vocals already have delay on them in the clean version, to hide the crappy quality of the vocal. Thanks for the feedback man!
