Re: Whats better Zebra or Albino
I`d say Zebra2 would be the one.
Albino 3 is great though.
Tough choice.

zebralette is also freeware as well as ZebraCM available from CM dvd.

Re: Whats better Zebra or Albino
Zebra 2 sounds better than albino in my opinion. Albino is a very good synth, but I A/B'ed both synths running just the basic oscillators, making sure they were both at the exact same volume, and found that Zebra's oscillators and filter sounded better. I am a self-confessed u-he freak though... Atleast one u-he synth on every song.
Re: Whats better Zebra or Albino
Awesome cheers heaps for all your input, i was leaning towards Zebra 2 ill probably end up getting both soon enough but i think ill go u-he for now
Another that has caught my eye is omnisphere but is a little pricey !

Re: Whats better Zebra or Albino
omnisphere is pretty limitless
I do find you need to be willing to delve more because lots of the sounds are almost full spectrum sounds which can clash with the rest of the elements.
But it has some awesome material.

Omnisphere is like getting Komplete; its really -all- you need synth wise.

I like Albino and think it's a great wee synth.
But just to chime in with the OPs - Omnisphere is fantastic.

Re: Whats better Zebra or Albino
Zebra 2 sounds better to my ears as well. Don't really know how to quantify it, just seems to have a bit more punch and all the waveshaping tools are great. Also check out Camel Audio's Alchemy, absolutely GREAT for dubstep, and the grain synthesis and filters are nasty!
Edit: my friend just got Gladiator 2 and I think I'm gonna have to get that next, cause despite the programmer's rep for being a huge dick licker, it's a monster synth as well. In fact I may install the crack after I buy it due to the allegedy invasive nature of the licensed software. His synths are the only ones I've ever heard of where people recommend that course of action so that tells ya a lot about the douchebag imho..

Re: Whats better Zebra or Albino
with all the massive and fm8 brostep rinses you got to keep the HamVST alive man... that shits more dubstep then even the earliest riddims. Church!
