Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I had my fifth restart today, this time I've gone down the route of "Battle Mage" 1H + Destructive spells, seems to be working nicely, Light Armour for speed and a fair bit of damage.
Also discovered that you can bind your favourite spells to the number keys, makes life so much easier.

it's fucking long i'll tell you that, far too linear for my taste though, hence why i want to sink my teeth into skyrim..deadly habit wrote:finji wrote:hopefully by the time I finish The Witcher Skyrim will be a bit cheaper!i have yet to finish 1. and i'm waiting on 2 to go on sale along with the novels

honestly i wish skyrim had implemented horse based combat like mount and blade
the witcher series to me is like game of thrones
pure and undialated narrative

Absolutely loving the game so far though, the world is so well designed and the characters and story feel alot better written than oblivions. The melee combat still feels a bit clunky but the magic, archery and stealth feels really rewarding. Oh yeah... and the soundtrack

COD is for fourteen years olds that think they know everything about guns. Skyrim is for people that want a bit of choice and depth to the gameplay.incnic wrote:watched my friend play this for an hour this afternoon
