Nothing like getting the day started

Post by Raggles » Sun Nov 13, 2011 2:08 pm

...and realizing you're an hour earlier for work because work open later on Sundays.

Now I can look like a jackass in front of the supervisors AND waste gas since my piece of shit vehicle gets 7mpg.

Never have this problem. Late to work everyday standard. Do it enough and act like nothings the matter, just walk in and casually start working: they'll just get used to it.

I've got a really good habit of turning up about 1 or 2 minutes after my start time... never long enough to say anything, always play it off by looking like I've legged it from the Tube.

This gets filed under the George Costanza encyclopaedia of office survival techniques along with "If your slacking, look stressed and angry... everyone will assume you're working harder than them and not interrupt you."

I'm late on a regular basis, and i have to take the time off my lunch. From 2 1/2 hrs, to 2 fucking minutes.

2. Fucking. Minutes.

And it's logged and because of my timekeeping I won't get a Christmas bonus. Need new job.

Super experimental.

I have a thread here discussing the track, and offering you the chance to remix it, more details in thread! See what you can come up with!

yeah, walk in a few minutes late, leave a few minutes early, a bit longer for breaks and lunch, and always take a shit/pay bills/check personal emails at work....not only does it waste time at work (can easily get your 7 working hours down to 6), it also saves you your free time after work.

this is your problem, your job is to do as little of that as possible while getting away with it- 'too much to do' shouldn't mean a long/hectic day, it should mean that not everything gets done that day, if it has to be done then the boss has to hire extra staff and take a small % off their salary that is 20x bigger than the average worker.

I work for the TUC
