Restarted for my sixth time today, this time going down the route of Conjuration + Archery.

100% gutted that I don't have a rig to play this on right now.
FUCK ALL OF YOU

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Has anyone played it on a PC yet? I hear it's very buggy. Is it really bad?
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Oblivion had a couple bugs and pieces, but nothing that was intolerable. I find most of Bethesda's games are nicer to play with a mouse and keyboard anywho /ageold PC-console debatekay wrote:Has anyone played it on a PC yet? I hear it's very buggy. Is it really bad?

I heard there was a bug where your mount would disappear and you'd fall to your death...

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Going down that route, too, but it seems they've really nerfed conjuration (which was always the best magic skill imo). Only 3 bound weapons, no bound armor, less summonable combat creatures. I went into it thinking I could do like in oblivion where I wouldn't have to worry about collecting armor and weapons for myself, I could just conjure em.Astral wrote:Restarted for my sixth time today, this time going down the route of Conjuration + Archery.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
i remember the devs saying they're leaving some bugs in on purpose, i bet this is one of them.deadly habit wrote:the only bug i've noticed is the giant physics onekay wrote:Has anyone played it on a PC yet? I hear it's very buggy. Is it really bad?
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I play on PC, very few bugs, some I'm not even sure are unspecific to me, IE: my horse can run up almost vertical surfaces

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Loving this game. I am about 10 hours in and have only done about 13 quests. I've been exploring quite a bit and clearing out some dungeons and stuff. Currently I am trying to get my smithing skill up so I can make the dragon armour so I'm laying off questing for a while longer.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
just to let you know i found this out, when you go in a dungeon the monsters etc are level locked to whatever level you are when you enter
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I thinks thats always the case with elder scrolls games, so certain enemies are too strong early on in the game.deadly habit wrote:just to let you know i found this out, when you go in a dungeon the monsters etc are level locked to whatever level you are when you enter

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
nah just this one
oblivion was the first with the level scaling bs (which thankfully is gone on the overworld)
this one if you go into a dungeon at level 5 and come back at level 10 the enemies will still be level 5

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I've been out of videogames for a little bit recently (too much boozing, martial arts, uni work, girl)
but this game honestly looks sick from what I've been seeing. I aint got a decent pc to play it on though. Still any good on PS3?

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
i like having the pc version for graphics and mods, but yea the vanilla game itself is well worth it
the only real gripes i have is the UI is way too consolized
still no combat on horseback (ala mount and blade)

Yup. It's still pretty buggy, stumbled across 2 myself. They got a bigger patch on the way soon.finji wrote:just copped, any mods/patches i need to pick up straight away?
