Project EX wrote:Loosly followed this guide, instead of just using cables i've used the basic in-ear ipod phones and for the other pair i've bought some small cheap headphones (something like this. I also used some other tuts/guide but don't have those bookmarked anymore. Should be easy enough to google tho ;-). It's definitely a fun project, especially if you customize it a bit for your own need. Hope this helps
Cheers :)
awesome, i've got half term this week now, so this should keep me occupied. i'm also assuming you used the zoom as the preamp?
used H1's line in to record

Wow, thank you. These are great for percussion, and even convincing sounding drums.

Thanks, yeah they work great for layering with snares I find, gives them a bit metal ring. Could do the same with hats if you pitch them up :)

^this

I surprised more folks haven`t d/l these.
every hit is great.
I`ve included cupboards opening and closing, bike wheel spinning, teeth brushing, etc. into my new tune.
It just adds such a 3d Character to the music.

Hit me up with a link when you're done, would love to hear how you incorporated those sounds.

I'm always open for ideas, can you be a bit more specific though?

Although it's very difficult to record usable material outside I'll keep this in mind.

Ye i thought recording outside would be difficult, but i think the added terrestrial sound is a bonus, gives that organic feel, big up regardless ;)

Have you checked out his pack that was on sale?
It has loads of sounds, breaking glass, cracking nuts, marbles, etc.
More than enough organic sounds in there.
He has a loooooong Airport sample which is just fantastic.

Soundcloud this is my last tracks where i used your samples you can clearly hear them in the intro at 0.14.I chopped them to give a amon tobin like feelings and to make them more rhythmic.
Sorry for my bad english... :)

I've added a mailing list feature to the website. If you subscribe you'll receive newletters when new packs are released.
I'll still be posting in this thread about new packs.

@kasshern
Cheers, glad you like the packs. Cool track, but you've scared the hell out of me with the drop, bass is way too loud imo.
