help - searching for a room in london

hey guys,
one of my mates is looking for a room in the east of london.
something in the area: Old street - Bethnal Green - Shoreditch - Whitechapel
from 1. of october to the middle of june.
any suggestions?
any help is appreciated.

Not sure if it's still going, but try the DSF couchsurfers thread.

Obviously they won't be able to stay for the whole amount of time you've stated, but worth a try if you're stuck.
