I'm just trying to figure out the time stretching capabilities of it, and after a bit of twiddling and menu scouring I managed to find out how to stretch audio to fit to the project tempo by changing the Timebase to "Beats" in the project settings.
I noticed that there are quite a few algorithms within the clip settings themselves for time-stretching, and wondered which ones people thought were best for processing different types of audio? For example which is best for slowing things down? Which is best for drums? etc.
Also, how do I set up a channel to resample an instrument? I thought I'd figured it out in the I/O section, by creating a new track and setting the relevant sends/recieves. I seem to be getting audio through the channel, but as soon as I hit record it goes silent and I end up recording a blank track. Meh?
I'm probably missing something simple... it feels weird being a DAW noob again.
