Better sort my mixdowns out so I don't murder anyone..
Playing my first big night tonight, kind of scared it will be too bassheavy (although it's techno).
It's 4 x 18'' subs but it always feels a little too heavy in there + you're only hearing your own monitors :)

We'll see, I hope the soundguy pays attention :)
yo its better to only hear your own monitors, that way when you take your headphones off you aint tryin to mix with something thats like a second out of phaze cos you CANT hear your monitors

nothin worse than no monitors
I see your point. But I think it's nice to be able to hear exactly what your audience is hearing too. Then again the monitors should display that :)

Well I'm off to the venue

Yeah I tend to mixdown the sub quite loud in my tunes, will probably roll it back a bit as the system will provide enough. can always boost the low eq on the night anyway.

the thief who stole my laptop last sunday has handed it in at a resturant. probably felt guilty as all the finnish promoters did a huge facebook campaign!

also a friend bought me the rustie album to cheer me up about losing my laptop and music just before i got a call about my laptop.

and finally i bought the new floating points double pack a day before its release.
