Any chance of getting Youngsta on that playlist, I'll willfully pay 25 a ticket for that. You guys brought him out here before, you should consider doing so again for this b-day.

I'm not. I just haven't gone raving this year, and I thought I'd 'put my money where my mouth is' regarding the line up. That doesn't look at all appealing, I'm afraid.

And Smog doesn't have dubstep events. (Prove me wrong and bring yunx back!) Its a term used (interchangeably) to speak of going to a night, mate.
Though if I'm honest I did see some rough looking plur/candy girls (didn't think they were still around past 1999) in line when I saw Distance last year.

Bull shit! You haven't made it out to our Sunday nights yet. Its total vibes.
Get in the know: http://www.smogla.com
I'll retract my statement ONLY if/when that happens. Until then my statement stands. I've seen your line ups, hence my statement, and have no inclination to do anything other than avoid them even when they're free--though I heard Pinch came back this year at a low key event, not sure if you organized that, though.
I'll gladly break my plans and pay the exorbitant price (considering the line up) if any of those 'secret guests' happen to be Distance, Pinch, Vivek, Kryptic Minds, Cyrus etc... otherwise I'm just not interested in what you call dubstep. Hell, if my mixer wasn't broken and I could practice before the event I'd offer to do a set or b2b with anyone willing to let me in just so I can hear some tracks I've never heard out on a system since I'm in the US--though I'm a novice and can't double drop, I'd still bring weight!
You couldn't pay me (enough) to go to this.
Also, will this MC or another like him be talking (read: ruining) over the whole set this time around, too? I know you are appreciative and trying to hype up the crowd but that was overbearing. I'd suspect this is partly (American brostep/pointless-noise affinity accounting for the majority of the problem as seen above) why Youngsta is so unknown in the US, and has done one or two appearances since--how can you appreciate the man's talent, accurately regarded as the best in the sound, on the decks when you have some guy shouting into the mic the whole time.
EDIT: Found it! This was my last set ~25 minute a few months back when my District vinyl came in. I haven't really touched the decks since, and if you hang out with Youngsta you should know these tracks.

im still thinkin about it just cause ive never seen skream but i gotta agree with u. last smog event i went to at the HOB was really disappointing(apart from matty g's set. he always brings the vibes)... mostly because of the crowd but i cant imagine that it would be much different at this party.
BRING BACK YUNX!
