May give Black Sun a few more spins, I just remember ever since I heard Spaceape on Burials LP I was put off quite considerably.

Rustie did good, very good though. Glad he gets love around here

There's not nearly enough love for Kromestar's Colourful Vibrations in this thread... also if all those 7 song Led Zeppelin albums and the DMZ LPs can be considered albums then Phaeleh's Cold In You deserves mention. That'd be my top 2 dubstep albums for the year.

Right, I just think Sepalcure - Sepalcure might be my new favourite. It took multiple spins to convince me...but the second half of the album sounds heavenly...can't wait to hear this in FLAC...

2562, Pinch & Shackleton and Rustie in a tie for me....tough to choose one when they sound so different from each another.

LV, Desolate, Anstam and Martyn albums were pretty good as well.

Also, Track of the Year : Blawan - Shader

While it's not a full album, I can't believe no one's mentioned Babylon Fall yet.

It's an EP, therefore it really isn't in this running....

This man has a point... I liked some of Sepalcure's previous stuff despite it being a little hit or miss, but the LP is impressing me right now

Jehst - Dragon of an ordinary family deserves a mention in this list as well, such a strong album![/quote]

Well done on a tip of the hat to Jehst. Not strictly dubstep but an album well worth a mention. Plus he put in a quality turn at Outlook this year. Couple album's that tweaked my ears this year were

Kode9 & Spaceape - Black Sun
Silkie - City Limits Vol II
Rustie - Glass Swords
Hype Williams - One Nation
Blue Daisy - Sunday Gift

and on a bit more of a party vibe I'm still rinsing out Chrissy Murderbot's 'Womens Studies' some great dancehall vibes right there.

LOL boo u was 3/4 dubstep and woo riddim is one of the worst tracks ever, but the dj q remix was alot tbh. and the rest of the stuff they released is dubstep and garage

the only grime artists i rate this yr is trim and merky ace, was still a very dead year.
