My copy of Nothing arrived today :D fucking SICKKKKK release, I'm not too keen on Zomby's 8-bit experimentations, so this was the one for me. Ecstasy Versions & Trapdoor, oh mai daiz. Fresh looking white vinyl too, always a nice touch

dr h wrote:Also, for those defending him/saying it doesn't matter, I wonder how you'd react if someone sampled Burial - Night Bus in it's entirety, stuck a break over it, and then claimed it for his own, neglecting to mention anything about the original track/artist. Exact same thing.
funny you should mention 'night bus', because the whole tune is made of an uncleared sample looping over and over. i know what it was sampled from. not telling though.

speaking of burial, he samples from youtube too:

you lose again. daft punk definitely don't credit all their samples:

Nothing is one of the best things he's ever released in my opinion, strong mix of styles, the ravey tunes are equally as good as wwui92? and i'm feeling the bleepy stuff on this ep much more than anything on dedication (except maybe natalia's song).

Eski album next, then Jungle, yeah? ;-)
