It's lost a lot of that 'fuck, I can't even swallow' sub pressure, but It sounded really tight, and I didn't come back with ringing ears!
As my first trip in a while, and after what I'd heard about the changes, I thought it was pretty buzzing.

nice!
heard a few reports now, sounds like it is back to how it was before the refurb - very clean & tight but a little on quieter side (apart from Distance dubstep allstars launch party, when they cranked it hard) but think thats due to hackney council restrictions anyway, big up JB.

can't wait for sleeper district n distance on 8th now

system sounded a bit more weighty than it did last week for some reason, but still not as good as it used to be. on another note skreams 04-06 set was a treat, properly enjoyed it.

got chucked out 30 seconds in to skreams set for having 1 bun on someones spliff :(

In regards to the system, I was stood right infront of the speaker and could easily hold a conversation without shouting, so it could def do with being a bit louder but it was very clear.

So should we just assume the security grabbed you as you passed the joint back to it's owner?

Surely it was your biff? haha

I'm ashamed to say I have never been FWD and I'm gutted I never got a chance to get myself down there a few years back before the refurb.

At least I got to go DMZ before the tweens turned it into a 3x capacity filled sweatbox.

 he gave me last burns on it, don't know how the security didn't see him smoking a fatty but spotted me with a roach! They were operating a one in one out policy as well so once the guy had chucked me out he shouted at the guy on the door to let someone else in, blatent money making scheme!

really great night. i do agree though that it could have been louder, seemed to fluctuate a bit, like at times it was really fucking loud but then it dropped a bit. hope they've packed a bit of extra weight for distance/jkenzo/vivek/district & sleeper - that is gonna be massive

^ all of this
definitely could be cranked up a bit, but i presume that's totally out of PP's control, and hugely improved on the clarity front from last time i was there for ben UFO.

can't even count how many big tunes got dropped last night... going in with lemon, dutch flowerz, midnight request line standardly, and then summer dreams on the outro... everything i've ever wanted to see in a skream set, shame i'm only about 5 years late

^ Agreed, levels were all over the place, wondered if it was due to some tunes being mastered at a lower levels to others, dunno. Sounded like there was some heavy limiting going on at points so nobody can crank it that little bit louder.

Was good mind, not how it used to be but good enough to appreciate the music and get a vibe going. I always wear plugs so if it were back louder its not an issue for me but for the general public who don't wear plugs its probably better a little quieter as its less damaging to your ears. I went there totally sober and it seemed a lot more claustrophobic than before. The air quality was awful haha, sweat and skunk. At least the old open layout allowed more airflow into the dance but it was totally rammed so that's mainly why. All in all a wicked night, Skream and Coki holding it down.

What was with the mic feeding back all the time?! Crazy D " Big up the squeaky mouse" lol.
