FM8 Skrillex Growl (TUTORIAL)

Can somebody plz tell me how to modulate this to give it that growl?! Can not figure it out for some reason!

How exactly? I know where ur talking about in the effects and wah. But how do I make it modulate? Can't figure it out. Thanks for help bro! I'm in Ableton by the way if that matters? Didn't know if I modulate inside of FM8 or with my DAW? Figured out where the mod wheel settings and such are, but can't figure out how to save an actual modulation to pitch up or down when ever I play the note

you modulate the knob w ableton just like you modulate any other knob on any other synth. The only thing that can be modulated in FM8 is the operators and pitch with envelopes or LFOs. In ableton, im not really sure, but i think after you move any knob on your synth, it will show up in arrange view ready for you to draw your automation.

Yeah the video is private for me as well. I really want to explore the FM8 more and there aren't any tutorials for it really.

Damn, I've searched for a decent tutorial for skrillex growls for a while. I'm not gonna troll at @Noisestorm, just set it on public. I heard Skrillex uses vowel formants and big EQ shifting after he gets the basic growling structure out of FM8, maybe that will help you guys. But seriously, if this thread is still active, then at least set the tutorial on public, or just delete this thread. Peace.

I must be doing something wrong...I'm new to FM8 and had don't understand the expert mode much so I downloaded the patch someone made. I noticed that I was not getting the same sound as the video shows. In the video you can see the pitch wheel modulating down but I dont get the same change in growlyness. Is there another knob being automated here that's not seen in the video, like the 'mouth' knob on the talkwah inline effect? I don't se the modulation wheel moving at all in the beginning of the video, just the pitch wheel....
