Where do we start with this man? Seen by many as one of the founding fathers of dubstep and innovators of the scene, we can’t even begin to describe his back catalogue of releases, including some of the seminal releases of the last 10 years on labels such as DMZ, Big Apple and Tectonic. Recently and perhaps most famously Loefah has re-invented himself and founded the hottest label in the UK at the moment, Swamp 81. With Swamp Loefah has signed the likes of Boddika, Addison Groove, Joy Orbison, Ramadanman and many more, and each of these has had arguably their biggest and best releases to date on the label. As if that wasn’t enough Loefah holds down a regular Rinse FM slot with Manchester’s very own Chunky. With sets that are widely renowned as being extra special and fusing the new with the old, make sure you make it down for this one.

THEFFT (SWAMP 81)

So we had to keep our mouth shut about him last time around, but after a recent tweet from the young Londoner and suddenly he's become the most talked about kid in town. Yep, he's the only 2011 signing to the mammoth label and how apt would it be to make him share a lineup with his new boss man. Thefft's SWAMP 81 release is set to drop some time in the future, so now you know where to be if you wanna hear some sneak previews. Expect 115bpm broodiness. Believe me, it's pure magic.
