yeh there's no way they wouldn't have been halal. i've done that before... asked a halal place for some sort of pork product. felt like a right twat lol

hp on ur fish fingers over red sauce on bread
or red sauce if ur dippin with ur mash

plain flavoured salted crips + mayo + cheese sarnies are a godsend

gratted cheese in ur beans is also mint, esp wen u dont want to cook

on the sausage front, i used to love richmonds pork sausages
the irish recepie onesbut u cant them here
them and hollands pies. fuck me i love them so much

trust the cabbies they know the ku trust me, it is one of the best fish and chips in London, the Sea Cow on Church St is good and even nerarer to me but a bit gourmet and their batter is thin not thick like at Faulkners so not quite genuine Fish and Chips more like Spanish fried fish, which is peng, and where we pirated the idea from apparently, but not suitable for a discerning northern lass such as yourself!

...and salad cream as well actually - had no idea it was meant to be chavvy?!

but surely the fish fingers should be fried? oven/grill is good too obviously but i reckon frying has the edge

Yeah frying's better but I feel too bad cos it;s so bad for u! Def all about the cheese tho!! Back in the day I used to make triple decker fish finger sandwichs, 3 to 4 fingers on the bottom with mayo and little lettuce, slice of toast, more fishfingers with a waffle, grilled cheese, mayo, ketchup and lettuce, plus toast buttered too!
