Technics 1210s: MK2 or MK5?

What's the (real) difference in these two? (in terms of both quality and price)

as far as i know the motors are the same, the MK5s have 10 % + - instead of 8 and lots of lovely LEDs. Difference in price is quite a lot usually, you can get second pair of mk2s for 3 or 4 hundred vs. 6 or 7 for the 5s.

Yeah the mark 5's have a pitch lock on them aswell so while mixing with your pitch between plus and minus 1 you dont have that little groove that can get in the way. Not worth the extra money atall I'de say.

Protected power rocker, no mess in the scratch =] unless you go horizontal styles then it wont make a diff.
