In a scene where new bass music nights come and go, it is rare to see a two nights achieve the success that both ERGH and REGULATE have had in a first full year. Like-minded events that have put together a string of uncompromising and eclectic line-ups packing out venues all across London.
To celebrate the 2012 New Year, Ergh & Regulate will be raising the bar by teaming up for the second time, to yet again provide London heads with a quite frankly ridiculous NYE line -up rammed with headliners across 3 arenas in one of the capital’s premier venues. Many will remember the carnage that went down at the last Ergh vs Regulate dance back in March, as a sold out Cable club got mashed up by some of the biggest names in UK underground music, and those that were there will know that these New Year’s celebrations are not to be missed.
Arena 1 will be showcasing a selection of seriously hard hitting and upfront sounds, headed up by an exclusive NYE countdown set by one of grime’s hypest of hype-men, none other than Tempa T, guaranteeing a next level electric atmosphere to kick off your 2012. Tempz is backed by jungle legend and dancefloor murderer Shy Fx, a live P.A. from grime badman P.Money, MTA record’s 16bit, plus the True Tiger family, represented by Sukh Knight, Blue Bear & Stanza and their array of lethal beats.
For chest-caving bassweight and back to back exclusives, the legendary pioneers Mala and Coki AKA Digital Mystikz will be leading a dark and dangerous dubstep assault, together with Rinse.fm’s 3 deck extraordinaire DJ Chef, Deep Medi’s soul man Silkie and the killer future beats of Dark Sky. Add in a Funktion1 sound system of seismic proportions, Ergh & Regulate’s extremely talented residents and M.I.K, Prof.D, JJ and Eyedub on mic duties and this New Year’s bash is a complete no brainer.
