@pixelscum - sub is hittin' nice and big. nice movement to the bass. a nice hollowness to it. i like how muted the snare is, i'd sidechain your main bass noise to the snare, and let it cut in a little more because of how punchy it is. just a suggestion though, sounding good. :)

@Congojack - a bit loud. don't like the downsweep that goes with the bass. the bass sounds proper though. snare is a bit thin and a bit too high-end-ish ... vocal sample fits in nicely. lead that comes in at 1:40-ish needs a bit more EQ, cut out the lows on it. I liked the end. :5:

@Cheeky - sounds hella big, maybe a bit too big! haha. turn down the sub a few decibels. its hittin hard though. don't like the classic horn sample :S feels out of place. nice mood. lead noise sounds good. sounds really heavy. :)

@Noisestorm - sub sounds a little too warm in my opinion. it sounds more like a bass rather than a sub. needs some more lowness and feel to it. vocal sample is nice. build up is nice. drop is really nice but I feel like the high pitched noise could use some reverb or delay or something. beautiful noise though. i'm liking every bit of this track :)

@Anne Droid - sounded a bit loud on my end. had speakers pretty low too. mix needs some work, but good sound.

@AcidRat - bass noise is alright. sub is non existent, and so are the drums! You really need to layer or something, I can't hear the drums anywhere!

@antman - as for changing up the drums, add some different hi hats, rides, crashes. etc.

@JizzMan - really feelin' the vibe. sub is a bit quiet, leads are bit loud, drums cut in nicely but kick is a bit soft. i like the snare though. could use a little punch.

@jimbeaux - good use of FX. i'm enjoying it quite a bit. just feel like it feels a little thin overall, lacking energy. add some uplifting/downlifting, crashes maybe? also the main LFO'd bass sounds a little thin, maybe some distortion and another layer? i'm not sure. really feelin' the arrangement though. awesome FX throughout, keep everything where it is. just beef everything up a little bit.

VERSION 2 of my new WIP. BEWARE THE MOON!

@antman sounds like coki man haha good job i like this.
@JizzMan nice dark a mellow tune man like the melodic fills you have in between to keep the interest in the tune keep at it.
@jimbeaux pretty mean bass you got there dude i'd like to hear the rest of this. props on contributing to all those people btw.

Me and my boy Chris Hurst are working on a tune together, we've both been producing for 2-3 months so we're really new but thought we'd try a collab. looking for feedback both positive and negative but if you're gonna be negative dont be a douche and say it sucks please try and give us constructive criticism thanks alot guys.

@acrap Sounds pretty good. I think you need to make the sample stand out a bit more, seems to get lost in the rest of the sounds and I think the drop would sound better without the noise at 1.52, but that might just be me

@Brothulhu - sounds cool but your drums can sound so much bigger with maybe a batter sample selection and i would also maybe add more sub on the bass cause really only your kick is slamming in the sub area, and personal taste but lose mtalk.

@renegadex - i like the idea a lot, i would just add maybe something else or maybe another tone to the melody so you can vary it up imo. Your snare sounds a little too compressed so lighten up on it and it will sound sick man

@acrap - i would just say fix the levels man, mix them cause right now some basses have more mid then others and some have so much top, just eq them and work on your mix and imo would sound sick man

these are 2 new songs ive made, there kinda shitty imo but would like so feedback

renegadex: intro sounds real sick, love the drum build, overall real sick progression... was a little let down at the drop though :( think the synth needs a little more movement

acrap: epic intro! very well composed! percussion sounds quality...

mannyyyyy: lovin the low synth, heavily distorted while still sounding quality! cool samples, overall awesome vibe... my only suggestion is maybe a little more variation in the synth automation - if that makes any sense?

here's one that i've been workin on for a day or two, any feedback would be awesome :6:

@acrap- not a bad song, and being a wip i can imagine you havent begun your mix...but when you do, fix those levels as it is quite uneven.
@renegadex- maybe work a tad on your sound design, other than that, the song is good. also, there is an artist out there who goes by the name renegade and works close with Drift the Dean so you might want to think about changing your name, just a thought. :)

since it got passed up on the last page, I'll post mine again.

Crow Steppa- not a big fan of yois anymore but yours sounds alright. It starts pretty abruptly I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a snippet of the middle or the actual beginning of your track. You have a lot going on to keep it interesting so I would like to see where you go with it.

dougriley -oh man... loving the vibes the whole thing is great finish this up I can't wait to hear it.

manny- HUGE track man haven't had a chance to listen to the second but the first is :W: needs some mixing though I feel like the gain is up a bit too much in a few spots.

Something I've been working on for a couple hours been on a bit of a break due to work so I'm out of practice advice is appreciated.

@Iorek Man I havn't heard anything from you in a while, I really havn't been checking soundcloud much, but it's nice to hear something from you. Love your stuff. This is totally fucking strange, and I really do mean that in the best way. I do prefer the build up more than the drop though. I feel as if there should be a higher melody playing over the top of the existing one. Really loving the vibes though.

@Crow Steppa I'm not sure how to comment. I don't want to say I don't exactly like it, purely because of the bassline. It's not my thing. So I'll comment on the other elements of the track...

I'm really liking the drums, although a little more variation every few bars would be nice. Maybe a little extra percussion would be nice, very subtly. I actually do like some of the bass, it's just the initial yoi's that don't do it for me. Would like to hear this a little more complete though to get a better idea of the track as a whole.

@dougriley I'm really liking the sounds in the beginning. Build's a lovely atmosphere. Bass is lush... Obviously I get that it's meant to be a minimal track, but I do just feel like something is missing. Maybe just one or two more incidentals here and there would give it that extra something, but its pure lush man. Possibly a little variation on the bass, or the synth itself would be nice after say a second drop.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Heres something I've been working on. I love the direction it's heading in, but I am seriously stuck for how to take it to the next level. Any advice/crit/opinions you lot can give would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Yep, looking for feedback. Only been at this a few months, so, ya know... it's my first time, be gentle, as the saying goes.

Not to be rude, but if you read the first post in the entire thread you would have saw this:

Please give feedback to AT LEAST 3 people before you post your track.. If you don't you'll probably not get feedback yourself. Its just common decency anyways!

Its just nice to give feedback before asking for it, y'know! :) I would give it a listen either way, but say's track is currently not available.

You can't post a soundcloud link from a quick reply. When you click quick reply or whatever, beside Submit, hit full editor.
Just about where you type your message, there will be buttons. Click the 2nd from the right that says soundcloud, and put the link to your track between the tags that creates. That will embed your track in the post.

If I didn't explain that clear enough, someone else will, or Ill try again
