Provided the TPs don't have the same error, I think the price for the limited TPs will skyrocket on Discogs.

I'm not personally all that fussed about it (I've just heard the digi) provided it sounds fine afterward since I don't drop tracks from the edge on mixes (bedroom dj ting) and when I listen to it for my own personal enjoyment I'm sure I can overlook it.

Also, that doesn't make much sense for digi releases since on the PYC session mix (I like the dnb more in that than most of the 140 stuff btw) the intro is fully intact. Unless that was an unmastered version and that part missing some how got cutoff and sent through, but I'd think Si and Leon would be on that. Its a mystery for sure.

PS: I'd gladly take a a .wav of Icicle & Verse - Moderation as a form of just compensation, though. They're all mates, I'm sure it can be done.

the pyc sessions mix version is different than the one that was released, even beyond the cutoff and all that. compare the 1st drops of both

Is it? I can't turn up the sound right now. And the headphones are in the car, I'll take your word for it.

You're probably right..which really shouldn't be the case, people shouldn't have to buy a TP just to get a proper version of a tune, Think im posting in this thread a bit much today lol..just rather worked up and have this gut feeling that i'm gonna have a bung version of propaganda for the rest of my days :(

Received my copy this morning. There does seem to be an error with first beat. I just mixed a little later in the intro, all good. I'm not worried these things happen; I have other vinyls like this and much worse problems.

To the people moaning; take it back to the store; where you purchased / downloaded if it bothers you so much!

Lol! At the people asking for compensation!

Osiris isn't Sony; and you are not Michael Jackson!

How can you say that? If you are spending 6 pounds on a vinyl trying to support the music you love, you should get the best quality?

I bought it digitally as well and i think i should be entitled to a refund or the FULL track? Don't you think thats fair?

Of course I see your point; I am one of the people who spent six pound!

Can you realistically think it is possible and financially viable to repress and recall over one beat? The rest of the track / release sounds great.

Like I say I am happy; but if people aren't contact the store for a refund!

that's from youngsta's show on 28th march. sounds pretty mint to me; full intro and the second drop right in time. has to be an accident that happened there. i mean the 2nd drop is completely out of time, not even just one full beat delayed or sth like that.
and yes i do think they owe you a refund when they're selling you a damaged product. i understand that this is a fuqqed up situation for a label, especially regarding the current state of the vinyl industry, but you can't just sell crap and get away with it.
and the regular pressing is made with the same metal disc as the tps, right? so if these are fine, what happened during the regular pressing run?

it's one beat and the 2nd drop being out of time, which is the bigger problem imo, as it makes the tune impossible to mix properly (i'm not talking about being lucky hitting the drop right in time, but about mixing technically).
for a company it's always an unpleasant situation, when you have to withdraw a product. but you can't just call it bad luck and tell your customers to live with it.

left channel seems quieter that the right aswell. gotten to the point where i have noticed and is quite annoying. same with DMT

this is not good. these are the type of errors i would expect on poop brostep tracks. not massive releases like this. still wicked tunes tho

Actually i think you'll find it did, he brought in from the top and bit of the intro was cut off...
it's the 2nd drop that is more annoying i think, not complaining for a refund because i was offered a refund from redeyerecords, and i'd happily pay £6 for the b side

just annoying that it happens to such a good tune

By the way, the test press is no different to the actual release

of course, that's why it's called a test press. I think the tune is intended to be like that, otherwise they wouldn't sell the TPs and would re-press the records

If you brought the digital from iTunes; I'm guessing you're not planning on mixing it as iTunes quality isn't very good.

So is 2 seconds going to bother you just for listening to?

Also would you bother wasting your time over 79pence?

Just a thought...

Nice one Kryptic Minds and Osiris for the statement.

u would think that somebody involved in pressing/ distributing this release would have the foresight to simply pull one of the records from the final pressing and have a listen and the fact that the digi is fucked too is even more astonishing but at least that is supposedly gonna get sorted... how about a free DL for those who purchased the vinyl? should be industry standard by now anyway

To be honest im not so bothered anyway. I bought from iTunes because people were pointing out the problem of surus early on so i thought it could of just been from there. I was mixing it yesterday and i didn't really see the downside in quality altho yes 256kpbs is what iTunes is at in comparsion to the 320kpbs. TBH i've never noticed. I have about 50 tunes i've bought from iTunes of which about 20 i'd consider mixing and never singled them out as poorer than the others.

Point taken tho, ill look to avoid iTunes from now on anyway.
