Caspa (Dub Police):

Today, Caspa is synonymous with the underground. If you don’t know Caspa you don’t know Dubstep. With an epic list of tour dates taking him to every corner of the globe he still finds time to host a bi-monthly night at the world famous Fabric. Not content with running 3 labels , producing dancefloor bomb after dancefloor bomb and the acclaimed album ‘Everybody’s Talking, Nobody’s Listening’, his remix skills are in higher demand than ever, remixing for the likes of Deadmau5, Miike Snow, Depeche Mode, Kid Sister and Adam F & Horx feat Redman to name just a few.

Dynamite MC

Originally gained prominence in jungle/drum and bass, working with Roni Size and Reprazent, but has also released hip hop and breaks and garage material.
He started his MCing career on pirate radio station, Crush FM, broadcasting in Gloucester South West England during the early 1990s. He met Roni Size in 1994 and began MCing for the Full Cycle crew. When the Bristol collective formed the live band Reprazent, Dynamite shared vocal duties with singer, Onallee. Their debut album New Forms won the Mercury Music Prize in 1997. Dynamite's role was enhanced for Reprazent's second album, the hip-hop influenced In The Mode (2000). Following this, Dynamite has collaborated with a range of artists including The Nextmen, DJ Skitz, Scratch Perverts, Andy C and DJ Zinc, Krafty Kuts releasing a solo album The World of Dynamite (2004). In 2006 a mixtape CD, "Big Man Talk" was released on the Strong Records label (featuring samples from Enya and Kanye West).

The track, "Bounce", is featured on the soundtrack of Madden NFL '07. "Bounce" and "After Party" also feature in the video game, Need for Speed: Carbon.

Dynamite MC is currently working on a new album "Radio-Active" expect production from zinc , jack beats , shy fx , skream , red light and more !

Datsik

Only in the Dubstep scene a short time, 23 year old Datsik (Troy Beetles) has wasted no time by making his presence be known internationally, introducing his own unique style of industrial sounding futuristic beats and heavy dance floor stomping rhythms. His latest successes on the Beatports “Top Download” charts are a testament that his music is being recognized by listeners all over the world, with multiple releases hitting number 1 on Beatport for extended periods of time. It is very well possible that he has been the first dubstep artist to ever hold 5 out of the top 10 best selling tunes at once on Beatport. He has also earned the attention of some of the most notable and influential acts in the scene to date such as Bassnectar, Skream, DJ Craze, Rusko, Ed Solo, and DZ, to name a few. With the Rottun Recordings label behind him, he has been hard at work, working on many tunes, collaborations, and remixes for some of the biggest names in the world. In a genre with increasing popularity, he continues to devote his time and energy into pioneering a distinct sound that will transform it to the next level, and set him above the rest. He has demonstrated his skills time and time again to packed audiences, on each occasion leaving them in a state of disbelief.

Caspa with Dynamite MC and Datsik – Wellington Venue Change

Fuzen Entertainment has been advised by the Wellington City Council that there may be sound issues with holding the Caspa with Dynamite MC and Datsik event at the Front Room (we had previously been told that there wouldn't be). Since this will be one of the heaviest bass gigs to hit Wellington this year we have decided to move the event to Sandwiches where we know there will be no issues. Tickets already purchased to the event will be usable at Sandwiches.
