good to hear... i checked out the model with a friend who seems to know every R2R model ever made... and he said the same thing. if the head's in decent shape, can actually be useful.

Haha I found one of those on top of a trash can! Im sure I could get some interesting sounds by loading them into kkontakt or something if I felt like making the effort. Why the mirrored image?

just scored one of these on ebay for £150, absolute bargain, theyre £220 new, if you can get one, but only about 50-100 made, and none for the forseeable future. rare as rocking horse doo doo as they say. Been after one for ages and one for £150 is a f'in steal!
got all of it yesterday, just figured out how to trigger vsts via the rm1x. next up is a midi splitter so i have 4 midi channels for each device (laptop, rm1x, esi, q) and maybe a proper mixer if i can afford it before the world ends.
