Art and dance festival RITUAL|2

Second art and dance event RITUAL will take it’s place @ Andrejsala Pulkvedis on 8th of June, Friday. It will provide an opportunity for the contemporary urban population to come together and perform an ancient ritual in a modern way.

There will be two dance floors available for the visitors of RITUAL|2:
Main dance floor is for the drum&bass subgenres - rhythmical and intelligent drumfunk and futuristic and technologically complicated neurofunk. The guest - star of the event is DJ MARTSMAN* (Martin Heinze) from Germany, who has released his music on the Offshore Recordings, Exegene, Counter Intelligence and Plainaudio labels. In addition local DJs from the BIO.CODES (Brain / Fee.Nix-Z / Melnizz), VARKA (Kone / Pluto) crews and the youngsters from TESTONE (X3no / Devine), SOUND.BURNERZ (Mavi / Nerone) and other crews will be performing on four turntables.
Second dance floor will provide the guests of the festival with a new and more and more popularity in Europe gaining musical style dubstepwith the german guest-star DJ 2KRAZY from Freak Camp crew, he is famous for the dark and bass-heavy version of the dubstep.
Local DJs will provide the heavy dubstep and meditative ambient.

As an extra to the music there will be specially prepared video performances by the local VJs that will truly enrich the venue and provide the spice, moreover Latvian artist Toms Kronenbergs will exhibit his stencils of multidimensional designs and messages.

There will be ritual fire with the percussions and the exotic dance – fighting style capoeira performances near the venue entrance that will help to unleash the power of the RITUAL|2 festival.
