@CASIOASSASSIN: Thanks for the feedback on my other track! Your track is SUPER heavy. For me though, its a bit too dirty and LOUD. Almost like someone screaming in my face! Drop your levels a bit and I think you'll have something sick here.

@Confusion-at: Your intro is super dope, as well as the rest of your track. I love it. Really nice man. The bass is sooo deep. No complaints here.

@ENNO: Thank you for the feedback on my other track! Your intro had me in suspense which is good. And than the rest of your track is just superb. Your bass is deep and tight and that "growl" is just even more dope. Your track is huge man. BIIIG UPS

It's a type of dubstep with a long intro, vocals from my friend marisol, and a drop that's focused on a melody line.

@Sonika: track with a lot of potential there, if theres something you should improve with your future productions it should be your mixdown.. especially in the intro when the vocals kick in the instrumental just goes way too quiet; need reverb on those vocals as well. Drop is quite nice, liking the chilled vibes; heard this is a first effort, if so its very good

@antman: nice track with a good drop; my criticism would probably just be that it gets repetitive because it is the same bassline with no added sounds or elements.. maybe next time take your time with it and experiment more to come out with some varied interesting stuff

@jstick: very nice tune man, loving the samples and the bassline and everything about it lol, maybe just process that high pitched vocal that kicks in around 0.23 a bit more cos it just sounds dry and awkward lol, and definitely phatten up that snare as well but this track has huge potential still

Jizzman (lol): drop bass hits hard! Not sure if I'm a fan of the pads though. Drums are great sounding, and I love the delay on the snare. 1.30 synth that comes in is really nice. Well mixed track, too, can hear every element clearly.Nice change around 2.45. I like it better without that pad hehe but as I said, it's all personal preference. It just sounds like a sytrus preset to me Altogether though, nice track, the sub is great and the mood of the tune is cool.

Antman: Cool vocals at the start. Filthy fucking wobble. Almost radioactive sounding (makes sense in my head). Nuclear. 0.52 drop is also very cool indeed. some dark wabbles in there fo sho. Nice disjointed feeling track, drums complement it well. Third drop now, still cool, though may be a tad too loud. Ominous tune man, feelin it!

CASIOASSASSIN: Intro is very cool, nice and dirty sounding befoe the synths even come in man, nice one. 0.34; that wee synth lick sounds fucking gorgeous. Very filthy tune, nice sound design on the synths, there's somethign heavily reverbed and sidechained in there? Only happens once in a while. Cool tune man, look forward to hearing more!

@Sonika: finally I listened to your track, I think it's cool but the volume is way too low, I would consider using limiters on some channels and pumping it up, or try Izotope Ozone.

@sellout: For the Dubstep tune, I like the general idea of your track, but the drums are not heavy enough I think. Love the breakdown, I think you could try pimping this up a little more and you might have something really interesting.

@Jizzman: I'd try working on the snare, and add variation on the 2nd part, it feels a little repetitive.

@comfi: I liked it, chilled dubstep, the bass notes could be changed a little more during the track though, to feel like it's progressing or something.

I just made a new dubstep track, my influences were probably Skrillex and Bassnectar for this. I'd love some feedback.

audioperversion - nice, in got me interested, nice sound at 1:29 it is sooo much chillin.

Jizzman - try to add to bass dark low cut wobbles, that start on each kick until snare kicks.

antman - try add there some really slow lfo wobbles, like 1/2 or 1/1 and some melodic bells can make it even more dark

jstick - entire song sounds like intro. a good intro, but it needs heavy drop it is like song in liquid dnb, and try to make drop in neurofunk style, but with wobbles...


please leave some tips what should I improve or post mostly constructive but negative critics.

@ Sunshaft: Nice tune! The vocals seem to fade in and out abit at around :43ish, try and get the level a little more consistant and perhaps bring them up a bit in this part. Other than that this is a really solid tune, I like it.

@ Audioperversion; You should have a bigger build up for the drop. I think a quick gap of silence before it might bring it out more, just my 2 cents. Quite chilled considering you said your influences were skrillex and bassnectar. Solid work. Love the ending section.

@ Comfi: Eerie style, i love it! Interesting percussion in parts. Haven't really got any criticisms to be honest.

@ jizzman: That main pad you use reminds me more of halloween than winter. Love that sound at .56. If it was my track i would experiment with a different pad/or notes rather than the one you have, or maybe stick a low pass on it or something. Otherwise its a solid track. The second drop at 2:58 is niceee man.

Some really good quality stuff from everyone i reviewed!
Here's mine that I just finished. Its not dubstep..I don't know what it is. But it has a fair amount of sub bass so that's close enough right?

@sonika - love hearin dubstep with good vox!!!! but the drop is no good

@jizdup - like the sub a lot lots of harmonic!!!! otherwise tho the track is kinda borin, mixed very well but it needs more musical ideas to keep it hypnotizin

@comfi - first tune in sig is smokers delite!!!! love the jungle style sub wit lots of movement.. the whole production is killin it, the only crit i have is that it might be TOO polished ya kno// like it needs a lil bit of dirt

@audioperversion - make a lot of cuts in like the 200hz area its way muddy dog.. also there needs to be a lil bit more of maybe reverb or delay to kind of glue the different mids you have going on cuz it sounds way choppy and not natural

@sunshaft - love your deep growling yois they killa also i love britney spears so this is tight.. you're gonna have to make a choice here dude and either keep the vox in or make a huge EQ gash in your midrange synths

@strangersounds - nice mixing

@comfi - I'm diggin the sub and it's constant range, overall the song kicks and sticks, however I do believe the song needs more dark flavor.

@audioperversion - there needs to be something between the cuts to make the song sound fluent and maybe a little more styled? Overall pretty good mix!

@sunshaft - omg! The mix is near perfect for my taste! The VOX is sick! Keep up the good tune to voice mixing bro!

@Sunshaft: thanks, I liked your tune, some mad growling in there, I'm still trying to achieve some of these sounds, may I ask, did you create them all or used a patch?

@strangersounds: I probably could have extended it, but I really didn't want to repeat the elements much more so I ended up making it short, but I certainly acknowledge what you're saying. As for your tune, the drums seems to be a little louder than the rest, maybe making everything but the drums louder could work. But I'm on the loud side of things so mind me.

@coocgoo: I hope you're hearing this due to a difference in monitoring, I made sure everything was crisp as possible, maybe you're bothered by the sub bass? Like your tune, just think the snare could sit better in the mix, it seems disconnected.

@Dj Jäger: Very interesting tune, I like the drums a lot. I like it especially at 2 min forward, very filthy. I wanted to keep the arrangement to a minimal, parts wise, so that's why, but I hear you.

@coogcoo i think your sounds are super sick, but you should work on arrangement and song structure a bit, and i dont really like the drums sounds, liek the snare, and how the sounds feel together, but thats prob just because im more into the melodic side of things, but you should try having a semi melodic bassline, changing notes and stuff, overall very interesting work. Keep it up!

@dj jager yo man, your song arrangement and structure are so on point, ive also got a soft spot in my heart for chiptune stuff, so yea that shit is tight. i would say tho, that you should change up your bass sounds, like your main one is kind of dragging along, like after the drop is not as good as i thought it was gonna be, i would add more fx basses, and maybe some like synth hits on your verses, but very good work in general especially in arrangement, the song defintely keeps you going along. Keep it up!

@audioperversion nice song, drop is kidna weak, and the bass sounds arent very unique, but i like your idea, like a very romanticy stepper kinda thang, and a nice melody too, i would spend mroe time on building your intro for 16 bars and then a drop/breakdown 16 bars or something, it kind of comes on to suddenly, and let your intro stand out, cause it has a good melody, but try using a bunch of different synths for different notes, so they call and response to each other, add some contrast. your bass sounds are gettin there, but instead of doin a typical wobble lfo thang, you should try using envelopes and using single midi notes to trigger the bass, basically your bass sounds dont make me go yes, more of like ok, they kind of just drag along. but awesome melody/idea, keep it up!

@DaiLow: It's quite good and looks like very well mastered, however some more fat kind of bass would be a great addition imo.

@audioperversion: it's too chill considering your inspiration is Skrillex, don't get me wrong, it's a nice bassline, but I think you could arrange notes better, so bassline is more "catchy", also you could change synth used in very beginning of the track, I think it doesn't fit well unless chilly track with Skrillex-like bass is your intention.

@coogcoo: I like the atmospheric parts of the song, but I feel like that sick bass needs a change to something different once in a while.

@Sunshaft: I like this tune! I would work on some heavier drums if your gonna use such variety of synths because when the deeper synths come in your drums get lost in them, I'm likin it tho

@DaiLow: this sounds great! tons of variety and shit going on to keep the ear interested, great work! Not much else I can really say, great tune

@Arvis: the main synth is little too crunchy for me, but other than that I like the drums and the deep sub. Add some more dimension to your song though, a couple more synths, or more patterns or something. keep it up!

@audioperversion really diggin the new track of yours, no other feedback than that really. Its solid and has a cool groove to it

@stranger sounds the transition to your first drop seems a hair off to me, thats mainly my personal taste in buildups and drops though. The panning on the drums were fun to listen to and helped the beat stay moving.

@coogcoo I like the space of your track and the feel of it, but it gets a little repetitive for me. Sound design is proper, just need to vary it up a bit.

@arvis your track has that ballsy swag to it that I dig but your main bass needs to tamed down a touch I think, it dominates the track instead of leading it.

Here's my track. I feel like 1:41 - 2:20 might drag on a bit but couldn't tell if I have just been listening to it too much. sort of a new territory for me genre wise. 190 half-time brostep-ish

@Arvis: The drum sounds are weak compared to the bass sounds. At least the snare, not so sure about the kick. In my opinion I would like more of a melody, but again, that's just my preference.

@Itsdeadpool: Is that a sample from the rage kid on Youtube? That's a pretty darn solid track, super impressed. Only thing I could say is that I wish the bridge/interlude had more melody, rather than just drums.

@S1nth3tic: That's a really interesting style! The main lead synth isn't fat enough for my taste. Too shrill. And everything seems really quiet. The talking bass seems a tad overused throughout the song.

Here's mine, some kind of liquid dub again? Not sure. It's a remix I did for some friends.

@S1NTH3TIC: I can't feel the power of low freq's, instead of short bass shots I'd like to hear continuous and modulated bass line. I can't say that more proffesional, but it's too silent between bass parts. It's just subjective opinion, technically I can't say anything critical.
@itsdeadpool: Woooh, massive! I like your reese modulation effect, what software you are using to do it(and what's the VST name if it's not a secret )? Great work, I wish to see more tracks.
@all: sorry for my poor feedback (I still need to learn more) but you're all very good - I often check new tracks here and I really appreciate your work!

@ Airgonaut: haha ya its the freakout kid, had to use him in at least one of my songs thanks for the feedback. I absolutely love the sounds in your song, and the whole song overall, I would definetly work on your drums a little, theyre very faint but other than that its a great song!

@Kotu: Thanks for the feedback, I use Ableton and the VST was Massive I really like your song! I would bring up the main bass a bit, but the orchestra is awesome and very powerful!

@S1NTH3TIC: Thanks, I wish it was flawless, lol... Really like the vocal in the beggining of your track, and the bass hitted right. The drop could use a few more elements I think, to build tension, it's too clean. Otherwise, the mixing seems good enough and the progression is cool.

@Arvis: I'll keep that in mind, although Skrillex was an inspiration, I didn't really wanna make a clone of his songs, and it was not made for clubs probably. About your track, I really really like the main bass, I think you could work on the wobble at 0:17 though, it is not crisp enough and stands out on the mix.

@DaiLow: Notes taken, may I ask what do you mean by hitting single notes, you think I should make the bassline playing the dubstep basses as I go though instead of making a bass melody then playing around with it? I like your track, it has a very funky vibe to it. I did listen to a similar track that was released but still sort of unknown, I think the label was Twisted Monkey Records, so know that people are releasing stuff like yours. Feedback wise, I think you could layer some bass on the squeechy sounds, they sound rather thin after the bass voices.

@itsdeadpool: Your track was probably the most professional sounding that I've heard, I don't like this style of dubstep though, but since a lot of people do, no problems here.

@Airgonaut: I found that the mastering was poor, track is way too low on volume and drums are too discrete. I'm sure that if you master this properly you'll have something cool. Probably you are reducing the individual tracks' volume too much, I think.

@kotu: Really like this symphostep of yours, especially after the introduction, when the beats are in. My thoughts are that the introduction was too long and that you need a melody twist afterwards, since it's a symphonic piece and something like this would be expected.
