I just finished my first tutorial on drum beats in ableton live, i'll send it over once it has rendered. I'll probably start on my operator guide tomorrow.

Everyone hold back on the sending for right now. Me, CE, and JR devised a system for the submissions. We'll actually have a video up in a few hours explaining how to do it.

Ok so I rendered my tutorial and I was reading over the op again and I realized you posted what kind of formats you wanted. However I rendered my tutorial to a 720p Wmv file that has pretty good quality is this acceptable (its only 35 mb)? If not what codec should we be using so we don't get massive video files?

Never fear everybody - If you encode as .mp4 the a 15 minute video at 720p is about 30mb which is very manageable

It takes me about 3 minutes to upload one of my new tutorial videos to youtube and I've had compliments about the quality before

I will definitely be making something for this channel and I hope it gets featured!

I have the channel up, it just doesn't have content. I don't want to link it to everyone until it's perfect and ready to roll. It will be done when we get all this shit together. We're almost done we just need some tutorials basically.

If you or somebody in here gives suggestions of what kind of tutorial will be good to go up I'd be happy to get the ball rolling

Just do something basic. I think its best that we appeal to beginners first. Haven't discussed with Chad or CE though so don't take my word for it.
...in my opinion

Yours is the only one.

We're still accepting submissions, but the project has been set aside for right now because CE is busy with finals and stuff but he'll be free starting the 21st. when that day comes we'll be back into commando mode with this.

In the meantime we should publish the channel with whatever's currently ready, and get our stuff out there! Then we can steadily update it with tutorials
