Tipper's drum beats/samples

Post by dameonxz » Wed Dec 14, 2011 12:23 am

If you guys know of this artist he has more breaks than dubstep, but is definitely a solid producer. His drum samples are like the punchiest and cleanest I've ever heard... anyone know how he achieves these perfect sounds? i feel like it sounds like the microphone was infinitely close to the point of the stick hitting the head of the drum its so clear sounding. I'm sure he is probably just using samples tho.

Any help would be appreciated

i totally agree with the eskmo statement, I've seen him twice and his sound is just as clear and way more twisted live(especially when theres an excess of kitty litter at the show). I'd love to know some of the techniques he uses as well.
