Hey I made one of those for the Oh my Gosh competition last month, I'm not sure what the follow button does other the lessen the number needed (now 89) to get the free track, but I've just done it. I took me a while to recall the password since I haven't used it since.

Someone mentioned Benton before. Though I think they were guessing too.

I'd say Sleeper might be involved. He loves giving away tracks at follower increments. And I love him for it :U:

Really think Benton is a part of it, or atleast has something to do with them.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

Biome and someone else is my guess. Those riffs have almost become trademarks.

~86 people left, lets get this one.

InnaMindRecordings debut release IMR001 featuring tunes from Perverse, Ghost Note, Percept, Formless, Gantz, Arktrix & J-One, Wheeler and Dr Hugo dropped on the 12th and is sitting in number 2 on the Juno Downloads chart right behind Ruffhouse!

Solid deep vibes on the whole release

Surprised that Headhunter did a dungeon style ep. Absolutely big release. He should produce more stuff like this.

dungeon is getting bored - also i'm feeling that this sound is going exactly the same way as dnb used to...

overcompressed and generic.
BRING BACK THE DUB!

just my 5p.

(though there are still a lot of big releases - no question...)

i think as soon as you limit it to one particular sound it will inevitably get stale, i'm loving the "dungeon" sound just as much as i'm getting into all this 130bpm shit but i can see both of them getting really boring really quick if people just keep using the same sounds

also to an extent i think the reason people are saying the "dungeon" stuff is getting boring is because it's been given a label... to me it's just dark dubstep and that's what i refer to it as, dark dubstep is nothing new and people weren't complaining (as much) about it getting stale back then, once you stop thinking of it in terms of "dungeon", "purple" or "brostep" you remember that it's all part of a greater whole, there's nothing to stop you from mixing some "dungeon" with a classic like blue notez and it'll still sound perfectly fine, by putting up boundaries people limit themselves

Exactly. Good music is good music. If a certain style becomes oversaturated there's bound to be less original/good stuff hitting the top.

That said, I do love a lot of the sounds going on at the moment. Been an amazing year music-wise.
