Re: skateboarding crew
He is brilliant but the entire Japanese scene is crazy, the French are onto something to, commence video dump;
Shitty quality but brilliant vision. Skating starts about a minute in.
Crazy Japs
Outstanding cinematography and pure NY street skating, 5boro are unfuckwithable.

also, Deathwish for life.
i got a question to ask you guys. i've been on a pretty long hiatus from skating because everyone i know is allergic to physical activity, but im gonna start skating again, soon. i hopped on my deck the other day and when i ride it, it's REALLY bumpy. it's practically unridable because if you ride for too long, your feet start to hurt/tickle and you have to get off. i was just wondering if you guys knew what it was? trucks, bearings, wheels (im guessing its probably the wheels or bearings). i wanna find out so i can get replacement parts for christmas and get steezy.
ps. i know it's not normal because it's not how it used to be like.

Re: skateboarding crew
You probably just need some new wheels. If your wheel spins fine when you spin it by hand then it's not a problem with your bearing. Softer/larger wheels are a lot smoother on rough pavement but slower than a hard wheel would be on smooth pavement. Also the larger your wheel the farther you will roll without having to push again. Smaller wheels accelerate faster when you push but lose speed quickly. 54mm is a pretty good size wheel in the middle. I recommend you get Bones Street Formula or Skatepark Formula. They pretty much never flatspot no matter how many powerslides you do and you can send them back if you do get a flatspot.

Fat bump
Getting back into it. Not bothered with tricks anymore though, so I'm getting a cruiser

Everything Gonzales does on a board is great. He also inspired me to have a car drive over my foot, didn't hurt

What board you got?topmo3 wrote:wish i could skate proper, only do a bit of longboarding (don't hate me)
Going for a Koastal 2 face or a Carr 66 myself. Not exactly long decks but that's not something I need anyway.

This is the 36" vert longboard I've been riding. I know you were talking about cruisers, but I had to speak up. I've been riding longboards on vert for the past 12 years.
