Tal noisemaker help

every time ive downloaded this (and ive tried every type 64/32bit etc) it wont open in logic for love nor money, i run a mac with lion, in the info section it says kind: pro tools plug in.....dont get how a au or vst can be for 1 DAW and I know its used on others in tutorials etc, so could someone please help me out, its drivin me up the wall

Are you running Logic in 32 or 64 bit mode?

32 but i have downloaded the 32 bit version and no luck, just keeps opening it with pro tools! :-/

Where is it installed? Get the noisemaker .component file you downloaded and go to HD/Library/Components, drop it in there.

done that and it didnt make any difference! its mad ive looked for answers all over the internet and can't find anything similar to this problem!

It should be HD/Library/Audio/Plugins/Components. You also have to enter your master password to authenticate.

and it was definitely the right file? you didn't download an rtas or a vst plug by accident?
