I just got myself an MPK Mini for Xmas, just wondering, what are your lot's thought on it?

Yeah definitely great for portability. Will still be good for home use but lack of a pitch wheel may become annoying

Yeh.. either way the MPK mini is pretty nice, no mod pitch wheel but you do get decent stuff for your cash.

Ah, thanks for the opinions, I tried it out when it came to make sure it works properly and I gotta say, the key sizes aren't a problem for me, the fact that they are small doesn't matter for me, but I guess the mod/pitch might get annoying... If I can set it up so the pitch and mod are linked to the knobs, then I'd be fine

I don't like changing the root note to play the low notes or the high notes. Other than that, it's not often that I use all those octaves.

Just pitch the synth down/up and youve saved hundreds of pounds.

I have one. I like it but after a while I got sick of it (I bought it because I was poor not because of portability).

The tiny keys aren't very good for actually playing in real time, somewhat restrains musical inspiration.

It definitely gets the job done though! Used the knobs a lot but hardly ever used the pads.

Getting an MPK49 next week :)

Yeah its all cool guys. Don't think I'm ever buying anything under 61 key though...else it would be a downgrade from what I already have.
