Come on, it's not that hard to be good at. Catch a bunch of pokemon with different qualities: fire, dark, psychic, water etc. Train them up. Don't think it takes that much brain power.

But yeah, i agree it is fun and addictive.

They balanced it out more in the subsequent generations of games but in the first gen it was just silly how strong psychic was compared to everything else, especially Mewtwo. And there was that glitch that allowed you to copy Pokemon so people ran around with 6 Mewtwo squads unless you specifically said no more than 1 of a Pokemon. In that case Mewtwo, Mew, the legendary birds, Gengar, Snorlax, Alakazam and maybe Dragonite, Golem and Lapras were the only really viable options. But usually it came down to whose Mewtwo died first. Love how I can still remember this, obivously the important stuff sticks

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.

When I was resident DJ at a bar in my hometown I'd stick on a mix and just sit there playing pokemon while the bar was filling up, and getting nice and bubbled up.

It's hard when you're trying to beat someone else who has done the exact same thing. Pokemon isn't that much different than CoD: the campaign is a fun diversion, but multiplayer is where things get serious.

You must've gotten bare pussy with your residency.
