it was that very same gig.
Yes mate - Thats why i felt fully jusitified in my paranoia. The thought of wandering down Mill Meads late at night with over a grands worth of un-insured gear didnt really appeal to me...

Sometimes its good to be a little paranoid about these things. I guess i have learned the hard way though. Records have been stolen from me before. Nowadays i dont let them out of my sight. Exactly the same deal now i have gone laptop. The laptop stays with me at all times..

Just out of interest - does anybody have their records/laptops etc covered under insurance?? Mine are. It certainly softened the blow last time i had a full bag knicked. Obviously there was stuff in the bag that was irreplacable but the cash helped out in replacing some of what i had taken.

Dude I put an alert out at Haggle Vinyl and gave them my number so I will contact you if they find anything, apparently they ask for id and address everwhere tho and that puts most of the teefs off! Happens a lot man... At least Haggle is on Essex road which is quite scally at the top, and runs parallel to Shoreditch/Kingsland/Dalston/Stokey etc

(And im not too sure how well dubstep would go down in Blewbury. I mean, the violin is still considered a bold and strange new sound...)

yeah sorry to hear that man. That's a nightmare that. It's just the nerve of the little tnuc who took it anyway. That's one of the reasons I have a tune called "Mutilation of Thieves". Little fuckers should get what they deserve, and that's a good kicking and punchup. I hope you get everything back man.

Sorry to hear the bad news.

That's really harsh, can't imagine finding people in my place with knives and guns. Hope you find a nice secure place to move to and do your stuff Bun.

Used to live in Hackney and take the 149, lot of fuckheads on it, but never got anything nicked. If the bloke ain't a crackhead, maybe he'll leave the dubs somewhere you can get them. If he's a crackhead, well, he stole your dubs, but you still have the head and the talent that made them...

Been living in NZ for 6 months and forgot what babylondon was like...

blim.... i done a search on e-bay for your dubs aint found nothing yet, but i keep looking. i know a few well known peps up them sides will ask them if they see if they heard anything. i used too get the 149 upto edminton hated the whole journey, jason big up too. seems like the whole dubstep scene looks atfer 1 and another, no other sence does that. i dont even think sum1 will take a reward if they found your bits, just happy too help a soldier out.

i had my record bag stolen after FWD on friday night, on the N149 at about 3.45am - bag full of dubs, promos and my sennheisers...

damn man this is really painful to read. i can't imagine losing a box of CD's let alone a crate of dubplate$.

but for whatever it's worth... at the end of the day it's just physical matter that has been lost.

the music will always live on...

stay up!
