Since when did Jah have no place in Dub culture?

same, but apparently the tracks are ridiculously aweful sounding. Can't judge myself, because they won't play for me.
Yeah, but as far as I know, the op wasn't showcasing the tunes you're speaking of, he was just saying he's a christian looking for another christian to collaborate with.
Woops, thought this was the other thread.
...in my opinion

There's a difference between serious artists writing music influenced by their beliefs, and people making essentially an advert for their own religion.
Nas is a good example of the former. As is most reggae, both having artistic merit and other messages outside of their beliefs.
The latter is just corny - you take the jesus out of it, what are you left with (like someone else said, probably a shitty Creed/Brostep/Will Smith clone.) Hence "Christian [Insert cliche genre here]."

It's simple really.

Yeah, Dub and Reggae are both pretty heavily religious, but no serious artists are trying to brand it with their religion.

On the whole, I agree, but...

I'm not sure which bits of the bible he's been reading, but Flowdan rides hard for God on this.

I suppose its ok to involve belief with making music if its what inspires people, as long as the music is good
