I don't think anyone does, lol!

Thought it was a great read. He made a good point about how people acted civil back in the record stores day because of the face to face interaction, whereas people now say things online they wouldn't (hopefully) say to someone's face. People can stop being so sensitive too, He wasn't talking about everyone who discusses music on here, he was talking about the small few that can't converse very well when it comes to offering their opinion.

add to my previous reply, i'm seeing him in just over a week at a festival, i'm certain he played left leg out in america, so with any luck he's feeling that vibe down in Australia, because man i love that tune!
plus it would be nice to hear his new DM release at a festival!

Skream > Chuck Norris.
I said it. ;-)

Surely this issue should be over now. Skrillex, although not my cuppa at all, is doing really well at the moment. He doesn't claim to make Dubstep. He hasn't posted bad things in these forums.
So why should he be persecuted? Leave him alone and stop these threads. Boring. :H:

How did Skrillex end up getting classed as dubstep anyway? Or was that just the ignorant teenagers?

Dark dubstep, fair amount of unsigned/amateur tracks from the forums too.

Hopefully a few people on here will start to wise up and open their minds just a little.

An artist who many respect, who many consider as one of the first dubstep producers, who knows a whole deal more than most on here about making good dubstep just said he likes the music Skrillex makes. His well trained dubstep ears obviously hear something in Skrillex´s music than most of the ´TROO dubstep street cred crew´ on this forum don´t.

...but what does Skream know about good dubstep eh? Let´s close our minds and keep up the primative purist dubstep mentality for just a little longer. Basically let´s not progress the genre at all.

It does make a hilarious read for the outsider ;-)

Skrillex Suck!!1111...right?

Haha *Sighs*

If you need Skream to make it ok for you to listen to skrillex, then you're worthless. :4:

I feel sorry for you if you think the only way dubstep has progressed since 2006 is brostep. And that all the people you refer to on here as 'tru heads' only listen to dubstep from 2006.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.
