Both.

Is this a trick question? Not like it's hard to learn the shortcuts to change between the two.

When more people have answered you should change the thread name to "What do you clean your teeth with?."

Pretty sure you should be using both of them, really.

I find pencil gives you more control when making really subtle alterations but I mainly use the brush. Having said that, I prefer the pencil.

Mechanical pencils are great to scrape the plaque in tight grooves but if you use a traditional one, that's just unpractical.

A lot of people like Miami and South Beach in particular, but I think the Keys offer the more laid back tropical feel.

Well that depends on what size lead. 0.07's won't get in those hard to reach places, and the 0.05's will. On the other hand the 0.07's and rather sturdy whereas the 0.05's are very brittle. It's quite the conundrum really. So I'd say I use both.

I never knew the difference, I just ignored them and used them both

Can someone explain this to me?

EDIT: Mucked about with both, worked out the difference, I'm feeling pencil for hats, and quantise off. Brush for everything else?

This. Brush for when I need the brush, pencil for when I need the pencil. There's two different tools for a reason. Pressing B and P isn't difficult :?
