Feedback for others:
@minusworld: Imo you have way too much going on, thing's don't seem to be in key and everything seems to be at max volume. I'd try keymatching all of your elements and then balancing the volumes of each.
@RandoRando: Intro's nice, maybe tone down the disto slightly? Drop is pretty sweet, you just need to maybe vary up the main synth a little to avoid it becoming repetitive.
@alexeyhermann: The tracks got nice structure and good drums. Your synths are pretty cool too, I don't really have any suggestions on how to improve it :P

Here's a little track I made in the past hour, it's meant to be a sort of interlude on an album or EP and not a full track:

(Unmastered, unfinished, written on headphones etc.)

Any feedback would be awsm :)

Firstly, sorry if I missed anyone, there is quite a few tunes.

RandoRando - Love the basses after the drop, that last note brfore the end rocks. Drums could do with more punch(on these speaks at least), but the beat and bass are nice. Nice work so far.

FluidMoShun - Nice synth work, basses are cool and melodies rock. Kick could be deeper I think, just not a big fan of that kick style. Nice work man.

PeriKardium - Really gorgeous intro and build. Nice drop with nice heavy bass after. Drums could punch through a bit more though*again could be the speaks lol).

mthrfunk - Awesome man, real nice. Dirty bass with clean arp, some really nice moments in this one. 1nd one(page 181) I like, not as much though quite beautifull.

CrewCut - 1st one is bangin man, great atmosphere, nice sounds and that. 2nd one has that nice electro synth sound, giving it a nice nice sound as a whloe. That synth Reece Machine 2 by chance?

Killamike49 - Great build, great bass, great track so far.

trypsn - really like this man, has real nice melodies and I was gutted when it finished lol, can't wait to hear the full version.

Darj - Nice work again man, drums sound real nice in this. Bass is great, love the FX etc added.

Here's my track guys, any and all feedback and critiscm is welcome.

@DJ Sampletank: Thanks man, I see what you mean with the kick. I still gotta finish the mixdown. Love the intro, really drew me in. Some of the stutters around 1:09 sound a little off. The initial drop feels kind of empty but the reverse part at 2:03 onwards is sick!! Also, you should chop a second off the track imo ;-)

@RandoRando: Dope! Nice Big L sample :W: I'd space out the "You better flee" line and the "three blocks" line at 0:21.. Sounds kinda rushed.. but that bitcrushed line before the drop (and the drop itself =P) is some unadulterated fire!!! :D

@Minus: Interesting vocal samples. The pads overpower the drums at :12, mix the pads down so the drums hit harder. Also, lose the bubblebeam sound :P And I'm curious, did you make the bass with sytrus? Its cool, but you should do some distortion automation so it gets harsher every wobble.. or something haha.

Have a new version of my WIP that's a lot closer to being complete. I'll post it up soon after a few minor adjustments.

alexeyhermann- Really like the drum work and your synths all sound good but personally I'd like to hear something more solid. It feels less like a song and more like a guy experimenting with synths.

mxi- wow that drop is. Wow. Just great job.Its really the style I like.

mthrfnk- This is a really neat track really love the sample you used. I'd say rather than you use it as an interlude I'd expand it and make it a full song, but its you stuff do what you like with it. Really good job.

Here is mine. If anyone has some tips on how to make my strings sound less flat that's just what I need.

@mthrfnk: That's going to be a really good intro/outro/interlude. It could be any, really. The lead synth doesn't really sound full enough to me, and maybe make the bass a little less static...and a bit louder. Nice stuff though!

@DJ Sampletank: I think the snare at the beginning is sort of jarring compared to everything else. I like the quick arp synth panning from one side to the other! I think you should add a deeper bass, underneath everything. To me, it seems like it's missing the lower frequencies.

@FluidMotion: No WIP there yet, but I wanted to just say Evolution sound quite professional, awesome stuff. :D

@alexeyhermann: Everything is really quiet! :( I think the bass is really interesting, but it does seem to get repetitive after a while.

@Dogman: Try adding some slight vibrato to some of the notes. It will make it sound a little more realistic. Honestly, the best thing for strings is to get a good quality string set. I really like the drum work though! The drop seem really abrupt, and you need something else over the bass to make it sound more full.

Here's mine, almost done but is cut off at the end and needs some tweaks:

i can only listen on headphones right now not my monitors so i'm gonna avoid mixdown suggestions

@Airgonut: i think you gotta add more percussive elements and switch up the variation more, especially before the break... but yeah the whole thing seems a little too repetitive percussion-wise

@dogmancer: try layering the string line with something of a totally different timbre as well as sitting in a upper or lower register? i've found things sound better if you kinda craft a more original sound, though i'm not sure how you achieved the current strings. also the vocal sample and wobbly synth section i found to be really jarring but that's just my personal taste creeping in

@MXI: not my style of tune, but i do like those kinda 8bit sounding arpeggios and the upbeat stabs... not sure what else to comment on

i've never actually finished a tune, so i've really been trying to do that except that i grow to hate everything that i work on. here is one thing i've been trying to finish lately, but now i question if it's even worth it because to me the whole thing seems uninteresting and boring, but that may just be because i've listened to it too many times so a fresh pair of ears and opinion would be nice.

@Clairvoyeur: Mixed really well, and the percussion is awesome, I dig it. Funky, Burial-style.

@Airgonaut: The mixing is pretty good, maybe a bit muddy in the low highs. Feel like the drums could be swung a bit more, sound very mechanical at the moment.

@Dogmancar: The trick to good strings is chords. Chords and parallel processing. Lots of reverb on the highs, bit of delay/ detuning on the mids. Also, use better samples! The melody in your track is cool, but I feel like the quality of the samples doesn't really do it justice.

Put this together mostly with samples recorded on my phone in the airport while traveling, i like the individual parts, but I'm not a huge fan of how it progresses, It feels disjointed and like there's nothing pulling it forward.

@DJSampletank I think the intro drags on a bit too long but good tune besides that well done :)
@Airgonaut Really diggin the vibe you've made the atmosphere for the track very well. I like that high synth very nice ;) Cymbals are sweet!
@clairvoyeur very abstract track to me, can't find any faults with it though, i think it makes good background music :)

here's my latest wip, real early in the works

Reliq: I kinda like that it fells like there is nothing pulling it forward. Like one of those things you can just chill and get lost in however I'm not sure whats going on after 2:30. That's where you lost me. Not sure I dig whats going on there.
acidrat: holly sh!t that first part made me happy. haha :) I am literally smiling right now. do not abandon this track!
Mazai I Like the first 20 seconds ish. I'd love to hear that one high sound on its own, maybe just with the drums. Also try dialing back the distortion here and there.

Here is mine. I just got a zoom H4n and I wanted an excuse to use it so I attempted singing! :D haha The singing is bad so I'm more concerned with the rest off it.

My shindig I threw together in Logic, I switched from Reason to Logic so I'm having to learn Massive, es2 etc. I made all these synths in two days, the drums are stock so they are shit, if I decide to use this logic file I will trade out the drums, I'm more worried about synth design right now

dogmancer- I really like the soft vocals. Reminds me of one of my favorite songs "Remind Me" by Royksopp.

cthulhu- really like the synths.

MaZa1- like it but the kick drum sounds kinda off to me.

Alright, so about a week ago I starter working on my first ever Electro track. Actually, my first track of any genre that i've ever actually had the willpower to dedicate myself to working on in until it is complete. The arrangement is not finished, along with a good but of mixing/processing/things/ideas to be added. Please give this a listen. Basically my first track. I hate to be "that guy" who advertises music based on his age, but im only 15, and im dedicating the upcoming years to working on my producing skills, as it is what I want to do for the rest of my life. So please download, listen, and give feedback.

*EDIT* Soundcloud:
Soundcloud

*EDIT* just realized, the wobble bass LFO's were messed up when I exported this from Ableton. There was supposed to be different frequency changes but it must have somehow reverted all of them to the same rate.

@Cthulhu: definitely add a bass track. your synths sound alright, although that talker needs more variation. I think in massive you get that by modulating your wavetable.

@AcidRat: sweet drums man. sounds pretty interesting overall, no criticisms.

@Dogmancar: Yeah if you want your strings to sound realistic just forget about using a synth. If you want the track to sound more open though you might wanna try using a limiter on your master track.

Thanks man. Well it might just be my set up, but I would make sure it's actually hitting those frequencies. The low end seems a little empty. Maybe just send the send the talker midi to a simple sine wave, those seem to make the best subs.

Sorry should have been more specific, my wip :)
