Boredom has actually made me post an introduction, been lurking the forums for almost 2 years now, been producing for the same amount of time, been listening since i can remember.

Names Nick or Bluey, come from melbourne Australia, as i said above i've been looking on DSF for around 2 years now, only actually made my account a month or so ago, no particular reason haha, when it comes to dubstep i like the same stuff the majority of the users her like, or, the old schoolers.
but considering it's not the same as it was years ago, although i still rinse all the great gems of this genre's history, i do actually listen to some more of the "recent sound"
my favourite 2 producers/groups of producers are Dismantle and Giant.
Dismantle is quite obvious, he's a genius, and Giant (H.E.N.C.H) just make really sweet music, and although they implement alot of "brostep" sounds, damn they have so good vibe about them, i think you'd be wrong labelling them so.

that's pretty much me, my soundcloud is here, i'll fix it in my sig when i can be bothered lol. www.soundcloud.com/blueyteamtom

hope to chat to some good people!

Well...Im dude2 a.k.a Kenneth i prefer dude2 as the whole reason im joining the forums is to learn from others in dub-step production. I wont call myself a noob, but i will call myself an amateur. Which i don't mind. Im looking forward to be a part of this community.

P.S. That was awfully gay sounding wasn't it...

Hello,
music has been a passion for me since I was a little girl. I used to be in local bands, played shows, traveled hours to promote for other bands (got into the show for free if I did some marketing for them) I will admit that dubstep is not my fave genre...don't attack me  I am a metalhead and nothing will change that, but that is not the only genre I love. I had a friend that liked techno and sometimes I would get a little bored of his music because it was the same beat over and over and over.....and over...then one day my husband tells me that I have only heard the commercial side of electronic music and he shows me something new. Low and behold....I went :h: score! That is f******* awesome! I am on a mission to fuze metal and dubstep even though some of you may hate that lol.

I don't play in bands anymore (miss it) and I don't have a lot of extra time so I am limited as to how much I can really create, but when I have spare time it is something I love to do. I have fruity loops and massive. I am new to massive so I am just learning the ropes, but it does not seem that difficult to understand. I got fruity loops years ago before I was even married.

A lil' personal intro... I am a total nerd and not afraid to admit it. I am a 4.0 fulltime college student finishing my bachelors a year early then I am going to Harvard extension school to take a couple pre-med courses I can't take here. Then I am going to medical school for 4 years THEN doing my residency after that and finally...I will be a doctor. A doctor that loves music :) Education is another passion for me, I was not a good student in high school, but now I am 100% school nerd and I have always been a bit of a bookworm so it works out. I have tattoos/piercings and plan on getting a lot more tat work. I love art whether it is body art, music, painting etc. I am an Army veteran, I am married (been together for 6 years now) and I have a 5 year old daughter. I am 27, I like video games, I have a custom built PC aka my big blue baby (she is an ocean blue full tower) I drink too much caffeine, I have an array of instruments (keyboard, flute, acoustic guitar, electric guitars, electronic drum kit) and I type 98wpm so my posts tends to be long

If that is not thorough enough than your standards are too high for an intro.

Hey everyone, my name is Andrey and I just joined the forum. I have been making music for many years now, and recently got into making dubstep. DAMN, IT'S ADDICTING! I like a lot of the modern sounds and try to recreate them myself.

hi.
my name is DJ Mix. i originate from drum & bass land and have recently started to actively get into dubstep, buying tunes more systematically and mixing them. some days ago i made a mix with 80% skrillex tunes, and i have come to post it here (also the other odd dubstep mixes i am likely to make in the future) and to check out some more info while i'm here. thanks!

Rodney Outlaw here!! I'm new to the dub step world and I love it!! It's a new home for me! I'm a hip hop artist (dirty south) style but every since I've heard dub step it grabbed me and made me feel like no other music ever have!!! I'm hoping to meet a lot of people in this community and learn a lot more about the music!!

Hey all! Dubhead from Canada here. Been a huge fan of dubstep since mid 2007 but just recently got into producing. Listen to a lot of metal and heavier music so naturally dubstep was the most attractive dance music too me. I absolutely love and completely appreciate that old skool badman dubstep but at the same time, shoot me for being honest, I love some of the new stuff too, in small doses however. I like to combine both new and old school when producing but none of that random noise stuff. Just doesnt seem like fun producing that too me. Id rather have a disgusting reese over a organ shaking sub. Just my opinion. I use Reason with my KeyRig49 and KRK RP6 G2's and Ableton Live with a Launchpad and MPD26 for mixing (not DJing dont wanna get into that LOL). Favourite artists are probably Caspa, 16bit, Sine Here, Funtcase and not too mention a shitload of experimental DnB producers that love their sub bass.

Uhhhh, so yeah. Plan on having some fun on the forums and hopefully giving some helpful feedback and also getting some good feedback on my tunes. Alright thats it! Peace! :)

Hi everyone!

I'm from Calgary, Canada -- kinda long-time lurker, and posted a few times before... I've been getting more and more in to dubstep, particularly the production aspect of it.

I'm here to learn new things, and make new friends. Hope to see you guys around! :t:

Hello All

Newcomer to this forum, no lurking, stumbled across this looking for more sources on Dubstep in General.

Im based in Cyprus (one of the few im sure) so didn't pick up on the Dub vibe until i heard the more commercial tracks from the likes of Nero, MM, Skrillex etc.

Im not a fan or a hater of anyone, just like filthy beats with a nice vibe. Here to learn more about the music and hopefully gain access to cracking tunes and music sources i would perhaps not of stumbled across.

MAN I JUST LOVE THIS SH*T - LOVE IT
Bangin Dubstep hard in Cyprus
