I'll add to the praise, love this dude's beats. I've been playing some of the stuff from Rubber Band Business 2(ever since a no-dj version came out) in my sets lately. S-X fans should check for this guy.

edit: And to wobbles, I wouldn't say it's that simple at all. Look at how much credit Kanye gets for production on tracks that have big-name rappers on them. Not to mention if you look at hip hop boards, usually folks talk more about Luger's beats than the rappers on them("BMF" and "MC Hammer" by Rick Ross spring immediately to mind).

I downloaded the 500 Grams tape he did with Rich Hil (I have since given up trying to get into Rich, his voice pisses me off so much) and as expected, beats>>rapping/the groaning.

I think he is very good, similar to Girl Unit but it's all good

Yeah it's funny that I saw this thread cuz I just read an article on him the other day. He was with the reporter and went into his studio and cranked out two full tracks on fruity loops in half an hour.

Apparently he made the Hard In Da Paint beat (which is the one that got him famous) in under 20 minutes.

And before that he was completely broke, couldnt support his wife and kids

But now hes doin great!

Ironic you mention this, as I've heard Girl Unit straight jack the Lex Luger soundtag(the stuttering pitched-up sound) on his remix of Lunice.

Agreed. Justice League in particular are really a notch above the rest.
