composite.human - Type S

Post by composite_human » Tue Jun 12, 2007 10:38 pm

latest tuneage from composite.human...slow and low with a 'chopped and screwed' type feel, inspired by the drug 'Type S' from the anime Boogiepop Phantom...

grim and grimy
a relentless, dragging, lurching wall of fuck off

i like how the percussion and snares sound like they are rusted and distorting, like theyre covered in a layer of grime

might just be my headphones but i was having a lil trouble hearing the sub, might it need bringing up?

thought it would sound cool with an action-horror movie...like Resident Evil ? :P

"f*ck dubstep. It's played almost exclusively by self indulgent wannabe losers"

Wicked. Love the dark vibe.
Nice atmosphere and background fx. Sub is heavy.
Like the dirty mid bass sound.

cool, thank everyone...i wasn't totally sure about the sub, as it sounds nice and heavy here but i wasn't sure if that's because i'm used to the way my setup sounds...plus i've been trying different things composition-wise that i haven't really done before (trying to get away from the formulaic intro - drop - breakdown - second drop - outro thing)...but yeah thanks for checkin' it out and glad that people are feelin' it. big up
