			Hi Folks,
Ive resently switched to useing ableton instead of cubase and im having a bit of trouble with the drum rack. In cubase i had hallionone drumkits (<3 xD) now im trying to use just the drum rack in ableton im very sure there is no hallionone plugin for anything other then cubase. i find myself using the 606 kick because its a bit more punchy and a 808 snare for the same reason but it still just sounds a bit flat almost like theres to much sine wave mixed in to it is there a way of getting it to sound a bit more desent ive tried boosting it at 100kz, hardclippers, compression etc or am i just trying to beat a dead horse. maybe i should use another plugin for the kick because it seems like alot of work opposed to the hallion one drum synth which was almost perfect in any situation.
Thx

Whichever one you think is best. Don't try and make dubstep. Make you.

and go to quiznos instead of subway, they are 1000X times better, they actually cut their meat and dont come prepackaged. Subway is like the mcdonalds of sandwiches.

Seriously, this. Don't try to make music that fits into a genre, just make music you like and whatever it falls into it falls into. I think this is one of the main problems with people trying to make music today. They try to fit under the status quo instead of just doing what feels right and letting it fall where it falls.
