@ daftendirekt : really nice wobblehouse or whatever it's called !!! :D

@rasmuss your idea is quite nice , your mixing techniques are a bit poor but keep up the good work. Also nice wobbles !!

Don't forget that people who posted tracks before would like to receive feedback too.
People really need to read the rules of this thread :(

Feedback for some others:
@Gaol: You really need to work on your timing & syncopation of your drums, follow some tutorials and work on getting the drums to fit with your instruments. You clearly have musical ability, you just need to up your production skills.
@hendrix126: Thanks for the feedback, as for your track, I like it man. Really nice and varied - it progresses well, my only suggestion would be to layer in a higher pitched kick and maybe a snare with a long decay into your exisiting drums, and some hats wouldn't go amiss.
@daftendirekt: Like I mentioned before the tracks good and impressive for your first track, you've obviously worked hard, but like me and others have said the yoi bass in the middle is kind of annoying. My only tips would be with regard to drums, your kick is totally lost to me amid the wubwub bass, and I'd say your snare/claps may need brightning up a bit. Also you mentioned you want to get it professionally mastered, I don't want to sound like a dick - but why when it's only your first track?

Anyways since my WIP got bumped onto the last page here it is again, with a few edits:

About the yoi bass, I know it is overused, but I still love it. From what I can tell the only people who hate it are other producers, and that the ignorant brostep crowd still digs it. I don't make music for the purpose of being enjoyed by other producers, I make it for everyone. As to the drums, I kinda know what you mean. I don't personally notice a problem with the kick, but since you aren't the only one to mention it im guessing there is something im not understanding. I tried EQing it based on infam0us's advice, but im still new to the processing world so I couldn't really make it too different. If you are telling me to remove the higher frequencies than I can do that, but not too much. I also don't fully understand all the db/hz stuff, I undertand what they are, just not how to handle them properly.

Im getting it mastered because I am very proud of the track and I wan't to be able to play it out at shows. Also it is not my first track, just my first Electro track, and my first track that I actually want to use to pursue my producing dreams.

@take2

cool start you got there, bassline sounds a bit muddy try removing under 100hz and add sub?

@cyberex

nice tune, during the kick build you could add a eq and sweep 20hz-20khz to give room for the drop

@daftendirekt

cool idea but drums, synths, and everything else needs to be eq'd. the kick kind of hurts my ears :(

heres my wip, very rough but yeah

mthrfnk - really was not expecting such a big drop, tunes sick bro, production is up there, and the way all your sounds/mids a spaced out makes for a mean listen, keep it up man.

lysergical - love the melody in the intro, but the synths that come in are way to loud, and the drums need some eqing, great idea, i think you really know how to right a tune you just need to work on your mixing.

Rymebox - first thing i would say is the mid range bass needs lots of work, it wasn't very interesting, sounded a bit over processed if ya know what i mean? drums sounded ok, in saying that the tune sounds like its in its very early stages.

Hendrex - drums sound nice in the intro, i like your style, need to work on your structure a lil bit, the sub bass could come up a bit, like i said nice style thou bro.

here is my tune, it might look like a finished tune, its not, i have just copied and pasted after the second drop, so i could give what i have to a few dj mates, its a lil repetitive at the mo, and it needs to be cranked up a bit. keen for some much needed feedback,

@ Cyberex - Drums are sometimes not enough, maybe incorporate at times, a sparse one or a continuous high hat. I love the metallic sounds. You're awesome at sound design. Melody has good variation. Nice panning on the high synth once in awhile.

@ take2 - Not bad. Good panning and nice gated snare. Maybe make the main wobble a little bit wide.

@ mthrfnk - Unique grabbing intro. Maybe a break beat would be cool in the intro. The drop, whoa. Very nice. I think breakbeats lowpassed and gradually coming in would work well since the kick by itself is boring, and not to mention the tune is trancy/ravey. Like an amen type break. Lots of stuff happening, and changing. You're good at variation.

Here's is mine

Thanks.

@darkestdubz I like the intro. It sounds like your trying something different with that dragging bass? My suggestion would be to distort it 3 different ways and filter it so it has some more movement.

@Lysergical its an interesting sound, I think the synth might be a little too loud for the drums.

@mthrfnk, good intro I would even pitch up that sound but thats just me. I dont know much electro but it sounds good to me, only the kick could hit harder.

Heres mine, still feel that its a WIP but its mostlly done maybee I should just move on.

cheers bro, that ecxatly the sort of fb i'm after,

I really dig those drums bro, big and punchy. drop is wicked, nice feel to your tune, all i would say is that your main bass sound, sounds muddy, maybe try cutting some of the the miss out a lil, sub bass sounds like it has been spread at some stages, heavy fucken style bro

@eldoogle:

0:15 try swinging the hat on the 16ths for some variation maybe. i like the panning, not sure how it would work in a club? the main sections are cool, but they aren't the sort of thing i can listen to for long (i don't mean that in any offence, just isn't my sort of thing). i like the end of the song, but the sub sounds a bit high? might just be my headphones.

@paradigm:

love it already. 01:05 i like the drop, but it sounds like the synth is slightly too fast on part of the buildup? maybe i'm wrong. i like the double time break you put in. the melodies sound nice in general, the dissonance is a bit much maybe but it actually sounds cool. if i had one thing to say it would maybe be to focus it a bit more so the melody is more memorable... but then i always put in like 5 melodies so that's total hypocrisy. cool tune.

@darkdubz:

i love the intro, it sounds really beautiful. i could imagine you extending it before the drop though and having a little piano type melody right before it hits in but thats just me. i like that it is very straight forward, i can imagine it would be nice to mix with. the hi hats sound like they have a little bit too much treble.

hope thats ok feedback dudes!

ok, this is the first tune me & my friend will be releasing. i want you to tear it apart, don't pull any punches, if there is something that you dislike please say!
oh and please tell me if you hate my weird fucking vocal @ 3:12, i feel like i really need to just delete it right now.

Feedback for others:
@darkdubz: Intros nice and clean, I like it. Your percussion is really crisp too. For me the snare sounds out of place, it sounds too real - that may sound weird but maybe try layering it with a second snare thats more processed and swooshy? I like the bass but maybe some slight variations in little segments might improve the flow. Good tune though
@eldoogle: Intro drums are good, I like the synth panning that builds it, but for me the yoyoy bass needs to be switched up with something else - although I like the slight panning effects you have going on. The constant yoy's get a bit repetive, so maybe copy the synth two or three times, maybe raise one an octave and distort the other one and make one a gritty saw bass, then layer them all and switch between them in time with your drums? Also some crashes or white noise hits might add another dimension. Also just another though, a double time section would definitely fit with your synth pattern.
@paradigm001: Your kick hits hard man, nice. I can tell you've worked a lot on your bassline too, it sounds good. For me I'd remove the roboty sample at 47ish seconds. The song progresses well although at points it seems a bit slow, idk why really. Maybe try layering some sweeping arps over the bass at some points? Your outro is nice too.
@wearecorsairs: Sounds cool man, as for your vocals -are they in key with your synth because they sound slightly out of place - maybe try pitching them up. I like how you've glitched them - maybe try some more glitching, if you don't have it already try this. I don't really have anymore suggestions. Good job.

Thanks for all the feedback, @eldoogle - I've tried working in an amen break sample into the intro, thoughts? Here's my 4th rework of this track, I think I've done as much as I can - maybe just needs mixing better and mastering.

Thanks for listening man, Ill try and work out the mud and as far as the sub goes , I did it in Massive and I think the sub patch is in strereo for some reason, it does sound spread at some stages, and I couldnt remove enough 50k from the kick so it doesnt mash with the bass (a sidechain compressor just didnt work for this tune.)

@mthrfnk
It does sound slow at some points, I dont know why either, I think cause I keep going back to the C note? Oh well theres only so much I can fix, thanks for listening guys.

Much respect,

Hah, you should take a look at Melodyne for pitch correcting/shifting your vocals - might give you some awsm results.

And thanks, the breakbeat thing is from here: http://www.freesound.org/people/VEXST/sounds/24940/

@ mthrfnk - The break sounds good to me. It's a thick intro so I understand why the drums aren't in your face. Drop sounds really good now that I'm listening through headphones, before it was monitors. I'm not sure if it would work but you could turn down the high synth in the intro part w/ the break so that the break shines through more. Or leave it, it's up to you. It's funny you say a double time section would work because I tried a dnb switch up and deleted it. I'll try the double time though.

Thanks for the above feedback, this thread is great for getting a few blocks of solid FB!

mthrfnk the amen sounds mean bro, maybe just a lil harsh thou, really dig this tune bro, would be keen for a 30 when its done.

wearecorairs - sweet intro, good build up, intense synth work man, this tune is but together really well, but the highs a really loud and its lacking in the sub bass department just a tad, if you get the mix down right will be a big tune, the snare seems to be a bit snappy as well. very good track otherwise.

Jimbeaux - Do you listen to a lot of datsik? lol nice bass sounds, very generic, but this is how we learn !! if i were you i would try getting a bit of atmosphere in there, few random samples to set the mood, and get a lil more creative with ya bass sounds, don't get me wrong they sound good, but the are nothing new, but yea, nice one bro

Will comment on more tunes as they appear.

here is another one of mine that i'm close to finishing..
