8-bit sounds???

Post by notdecidedmusic » Fri Jan 06, 2012 3:22 pm

Well personally I hate them. That's why I have never been a big fan of doctor p because his tracks seem to be built on them.
Does anybody else use these sounds in their own tracks or not??

Saying that though I do love tetris :DD but that's probably because i have played that game my whole life...

The generic answer to this question whenever this thread crops up:

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.

most of anything by quarta330 is dope.

also
I've been pulling sound clips from this tracker built for the nintendo gameboy called LSDJ. it has a lot of great raw sounds/waveforms. when you add filters or other effects, you can do some really creative things with them. 2$ is pretty cheap for access to all of the raw sounds on the original gameboy systems.

Tetris and Big Boss are both in my top 5 worst dubstep tunes of all time. And they're in awful company.

I was thinkin of Soom T but couldnt remember her name. That track Dirty Money w/Distrupt also heavily uses 8bit sounds.
