ive just recently downloaded a few free VST's / VSTi's on my olds pc and they dont seem to be working with the demo version of FL 7 i have on that machine...
Do all VST's work with all programs (reason, cubase,FL,ableton, etc)?
Or is it the fact its the demo version?
cheers

usually they need to be in a vst folder and that folder has to be given a path in your preferences

if they don't show up you might need to refresh the list...i know acid/soundforge have a refresh option, not sure if fruity does...or if that doesn't work maybe make a separate vst folder for everything and set that as the default vst folder...
